He had a rough idea that it was mainly due to the man wanting Akira to get close enough to see whose chakra the female titan resembled most.
So far Akira had not gotten that close, the female titan seemed like she was retreating, he could see her rough shape when he focused all of his focus on that one spot.
She was running away....running away from the formation altogether, it seemed like she did not want anything to do with Akira.
Akira sighed to himself a bit as they all got into formation, he waved Armin goodbye before getting back to his usual post of defending Eren.
He wondered if he could reach Eren all the way from here.
His eyes were way better than before and his byakugan was getting stronger and stronger.
Akira felt a bit bored, but the rest of the trip was well, just fine, with his byakugan, they were able to avoid all of the Titans, and the titan who wanted to scrap with them was made an easy kill for the cadet, especially with Akira expert skill with his needles.
He had a whole pouch full of them, courtesy of Hange....if he remember correctly, he had about 300 wooden needles, 200 glass needles, and like 100 metal needles. Which was like 600 needles.
You may be asking, huh, that a lot of needles, well you see, the needles weren't that big to be 2 millimeters large and like 4 or 5 inches long.
So they were relatively small, his biggest needle was about 9 inches long and 6 millimeters wide, and that one was made specifically for the collosol titan.
Even if the needles were so small, they were still quite dangerous, each needle type could be used on a specific titan type.
The wooden one would be used on small titans or any titan without any abnormality, the glass needles would be used for the abnormal titan, if they were to shatter when making contact with the titan skin, that like more damage overall.
Like a small shotgun shell that targeted only their tenketsu point.
As for the metal ones...they were for the Titan shifters...They were metal for the simple case that he wanted them to penetrate the titan skin to reach the titan shifter and that was about it.
His last needle was just there for the collosol titan, the second he showed up, Akira would hit him with his railgun but instead of launching chakra, it would be his needle flying at supersonic speed and reaching him nearly in an instant.
His very own missile...
Now if only he could put a switch on it, that would be just divine.
As he thought of those though, he continued making very small talk with Petra, she seemed to like having someone to talk to that was anti-social.
That was good for her. Akira could control himself, he was no beast, speaking to a woman was easy, there was nothing to be horny about.
'Breed'
Ah yes, here comes the fucking voice in his head again, he sighed to himself, why did he feel like something in his head was telling him to do that.
'Fine, I will knock up Krista...happy' Akira mentally thought to himself and for a moment there was no sound.
Well, he took that as whatever was in his head finally shutting the hell up.
Petra was cute right but he had already chosen someone.
He had accepted the fact that he was like the last member of his clan, he had accepted the fact that he was a direct descendent of the first person to ever inherit a byakugan in this world.
He had long since accepted all of that.
He wanted to see how far he could push the byakugan, even if the Tenseigan wasn't a thing, he wanted to push his byakugan to its absolute limit.
And he also wanted to be there for Krista...He wouldn't want to do to her something he wouldn't her to do with him.
Well, he would ask her about it later if it was a no, then it was no, he had no real problem with it.
After all, her opinion did matter to him.
He sighed a bit, so many things to live up to...being the last heir of a clan he was sure had practically shaped this world.
He just had this gut feeling that as things stood right now, he probably was the most valuable thing.... on the whole....planet.
He felt like a hypocrite saying all of this and somehow being this horny, he just know that if they were alone right now she probably would be taking the pipe.
He sighed to himself, he sure hoped he could find Krista again....soon.
He was doing a lot of sighing...well the mission was boring and everything went smoothly.
Now his goal was simple...find the culprit.
He hoped his life wouldn't get harder.
A/N...This is the end of season one. For those wondering why the Levi squad didn't die or why they didn't venture into the forest, I have one answer: Akira. I've demonstrated that Akira's range is terrifying, and I previously mentioned that if he got close enough, he could identify the titan shifter. Now, I want you to think critically: why would the Female Titan avoid a head-on confrontation with the scouts when Akira would have been completely capable of identifying her?
