They were told to clear out the road.
Akira was meant to help them using his needle and that is what he did, from where he was, he used his needle to numb the titan before the soldier could reach them.
"5 Meter titan hiding in the building infront, 100 meters away"
"Abnormal titan....with enhanced speed, coming from the right, 120 meters, will reach us in about 30 seconds" Akira added as he started to notice all the titans that were coming toward them.
"Where is the route with least resistance" Levi asked, Akira didnt think he would get that asked from the man but he guessed that if he could avoid pointless death he would take it.
"If we go Northwest, we can avoid all of the Titans coming toward us"
Upon hearing his words, Levi and the whole squad went Northwest and just like Akira had said, they had met no titan at all.
Matter of fact the Titans still seem like they thought they were going to keep running toward them.
With Akira's incredible range with his eyes, the scouting team did not really have to do much, with his Byakugan he would tell them when a titan would show up before they could even see the titan.
Being able to have eyes on the titan 24/7, They were mostly able to pass through the ruins without much ruckus, the titan did not even seem to notice them, probably because they were taking the safest route possible
Erwin had made the formation in such a way that the furthest point away from Akira who was in the middle was roughly 350 meters, or 400 meters for the ones that were most further out.
They were decently spread out and considering they were riding in a mountainous location, it was a decently large distance.
"14-meter tall female titan approaching on the right wing" Akira suddenly said, he could see, in his field of view, he could see the female titan approaching them.
"How far"
"540 meters" Akira added, this had confirmed something for him.
The female titan was being cautious, it seemed like she could roughly estimate that he was somewhere in the middle of the pact and thus she kept her distance in order not to be seen.
Little did she know, Akira's byakugan range had been increased by a bit due to his intense training with Hange.
And by intense training, he means she made him try and find a single grain of salt about 500 meters away....crazy ass lady.
However he wasn't that mad at her, after all, she had helped increase his range to about 550 meters in all directions so it was all god.
Hold up...Akira noticed something in his field of view....
"That bitch" Akira mutter to himself quite annoyed.
Pov change to Armin.
Armin noticed a titan running toward them, the member of his group tossed it up to the titan being an abnormal titan.
Armin however did not feel like this was an abnormal titan....it looked to be....different.
"It's moving so fast....too fast" Armin added as he shot up his flare to alert the other group that they were being attacked by an abnormal titan.
"We have to keep it clear of Arlet, Cis" Ness screamed out.
Cis jumped off his horse, using his ODM gear to attach it to the female titan's nape, the man opened his mouth and said
"On it"
As he rushed to cut the titan nape, his sword shattered upon making contact with the titan nape.
The female titan grabbed the man before slamming him on the floor so hard that the man just died on impact, every bone in his body turned into mush.
The female titan then grabbed Ness before crushing the man in her hand.
Armin watching this felt horrified...
This titan was too strong.
As Armin turned around to look at where the female titan was....he noticed about...50 titans behind.....so many titans, it felt like there was no end to them, they seemed to be somehow attracted to the female titan.

"She is too strong!" Armin said to himself as he rode his horse.
