Trigger Warning for stalking,

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the bistro opened up the next day Vincent felt terrified. Thankfully neither of them left any hickeys or bite marks, yet still Vincent feared everyone would know. He feared being arrested. He feared what happened to Rody. His reputation would be ruined, and he would lose his business, alongside his home. Hell he could also lose his money. A touch to his shoulder caused him to jump. Quickly turning behind to see Rody.

"Hey it's just me." Rody said as Vincent calmed down.

"Sorry." Vincent muttered as Rody cupped his face.

"You don't need to apologize for that. I did try to get your attention by calling your name, but you were really out of it. Is something on your mind?" Rody asked as Vincent sighed.

"I'm scared. Like that they might find out even if it isn't obvious, and I know it's irrational-"

"You're not wrong." Vincent froze as he looked at Rody in shock.

"I remember when I first realized that I liked men I panicked a lot. I kept having nightmares about being caught, and well losing everything. But the longer I went on and kept it a secret. Fearing it was painfully obvious, nobody noticed. As long as we act like we usually do nobody will know." Rody said as Vincent relaxed into his touch.

"Are you sure?" Rody gave him a sweet smile.

"I promise." Rody said before giving him a sweet kiss on the lips.

"Now come on we got customers to feed." Vincent chuckled as the two walked downstairs before beginning to open up. Waiters and chefs walked in and got ready for the day. Starting to prep their stations for food. All while Vincent and the other waiters began to set the tables and get ready for customers. Though at one point Vincent couldn't help but feel as if someone was watching him. When he turned to face the doors, he saw why. Across the street standing with her arms crossed was Manon. A furious look on her face.

Vincent felt his heart pound. He was stuck like a deer in headlights, as he waited for Manon to walk over. Yet she didn't. As if she was powerless to do so. That's when Vincent recalled Manon had beaten up Rody. She was probably banned. Vincent felt a bit of smugness come across him. Yet he didn't let it show. Instead he kept a neutral face as he continued on with his tasks. Rody's words kept him a bit more alive as he began his work. For once instead of a customer service smile he was used to putting on it was more genuine.

Not to mention the customers were rather nice that day. All until one pair of customers entered. An elderly couple that Vincent was in charge of, and he recognized them immediately. He was thankful that it wasn't Manon's parents, yet at the same time he wished they were. Manon's parents were nicer than her aunt and uncle. He definitely knew where she got her sour attitude from. His smile went back to a customer service smile as he walked up with his notepad.

"Hello my name is Vincent and I will be your waiter today, is there anything I can get you to start?"

"Do you have anything other than these items?" The man asked as he pointed at the menu.

"No sir. Our menu changes daily, if you don't like what's on it, we'll be serving something different tomorrow." The man growled.

"Can't you just make us what we want?" The woman asked, looking at him with annoyed eyes. "No ma'am. We cannot." The woman scoffed.

"What a horrible establishment. The customer is always right and you need to serve us what we want." The woman shouted causing Vincent to flinch. He could feel all sorts of eyes in him. He was just about sick of dealing with Manon. Of course as he looked away nervously before noticing Rody walking out.

"Well you can talk to the head chef then." Vincent said as he scampered off to deal with a different table. Thankful to get food for two nice women. Before moving back and forth. That was until he heard shouting.

"LISTEN HERE YOU FUCKING BITCH!." The whole restaurant went silent and turned over to see Rody holding the woman by the collar of her shirt. Her feet very clearly off the ground.

"All of these other customers are trying to enjoy their meals, and you are over here being a picky Bitch. If you don't like it. LEAVE!" Rody shouted before he practically fell to the ground. The couple rushed out As Rody gave a smile before the restaurant returned to a calmer status. Vincent got higher tips and when the day was over he was just about ready for something a bit more peaceful. Almost immediately he collapsed on the couch.

"I didn't think today was that bad." Rody teased as he leaned over him.

"Yeah well still it was busy."

"Well don't plan to sit around for the rest of the evening. Get ready to change into something nice, we're going out." Rody said, causing Vincent to raise a brow.

"Relax, it's nothing crazy, just casual." Vincent watched as Rody walked off now curious about what Rody was planning. In a few minutes Rody walked out wearing a button up shirt over a blue turtleneck, blue jeans, a black belt where the end dangled off. In his hand he held his coat slightly over his shoulder. He still looked nice, but much more casual.

"So it's a casual date?" Rody nodded.

"Yeah." Vincent let out a hum as he got up.

 "You look nice."

"Thank you." Rody said before giving him a kiss.

"Now go get changed handsome." Rody teased with a wink. Vincent flushed before walking back into their bedroom. Opening the wardrobe and looking at his half. He figured the black turtleneck, and black pants he had worn would do. Though he knew it would also be cold. He had one old tattered brown coat. It would have to do. He changed out of his waiter uniform, and into the outfit he picked out before returning to the living room. Rody let out a loud whistle as Vincent walked out.

 "Looking nice." Vincent scoffed.

"Please, it's not that impressive." Rody let out a suspicious hum as he grabbed the lapels of the coat.

"How old is this?" Vincent scoffed.

"As old as my parents."

"Damn. Why didn't you get a new one?" Vincent's smile faltered for a bit. Yet he couldn't let it spill. Not yet. Though he had another reason not to get a new one.

"I didn't have enough money." Rody shrugged.

"Alright then let me know if you want a new one though. Now come on, let's go." Rody said as he leaned in for a quick peck on the lips before the two headed out. When they arrived at the theater it was already quite packed. Couples, teenagers, even some families were there. The two got in line for the tickets. Looking over which movie they wanted to watch.

"I kind of want to watch The Witchmaker." Rody said.

"Hmm that sounds interesting. I'm up for it." Rody gave a smile before the two moved up in line. After about ten minutes the two got their tickets. Rody convinced him to get a bucket of popcorn, and some soft drinks. Before finally settling down in a few minutes the movie started.

"Oh my god, I can't believe how many times you grabbed onto my arm." Rody said while laughing. Vincent sighed as he rolled his eyes.

"Oh fuck off, I didn't expect it to be as terrifying." Vincent complained as he playfully shoved Rody. Only making him laugh harder. Vincent couldn't help but smile as well. Seeing Rody happy made him happy. That was until he felt a chill down his spine. He looked behind her and quickly looked back forward. His discomfort didn't go unnoticed by Rody. He turned around before giving a look of annoyance.

"What the hell." He muttered as the two got to his car. As they were inside Vincent looked over at him.

"Drive. I'll talk." Rody nodded before starting up the engine and leaving the parking lot. All while terror clawed at the back of Vincent's mind. At any moment she could be there. Watching him, waiting for the moment to attack him. That time Vincent feared Rody wouldn't be able to stop her.
