It was a typical day for Seonghwa.

After that encounter with Hongjoong, he had decided to get his life back on track. He started going out more often, he went back onto social and news platforms, he started to look for a new job with the degree he had in marketing.

He got a new number, after he had deleted his previous one so that Yujin wouldn't be able to contact him, but his phone had no numbers saved as he had no friends at that point. They had all lost touch when he deleted his old number, not caring about his friends' number at that time.

He hadn't touched his instagram, youtube, tiktok, snapchat etc after he had escaped, and did not know what was going on in the world. But when he decided to get his life back, he went back onto all his social platforms, and learnt about what was going on to the influential figures and the events happening like various countries' general elections.

One thing he realised was that Yujin actually could not hurt him anymore. Why?

Oh. Because he's dead!

Shortly after Seonghwa had gotten his social media accounts back, he had seen the news of a man falling from the rooftop of a 30 storey building to meet his demise. Apparently, the man had been fighting with a girl there, and the girl had pushed him off accidentally.

Seonghwa had decided to dive deeper into the news and found out 2 things. Number 1, the man that had died 'oh so tragically' was his abusive ex, Lee Yujin, and number 2, what he had been doing up there with the girl to earn him his current status of being 5 feet under. And maybe also in the part of the sky where everything was red.

He had been harassing the girl, following her from the cafe she was at to her house. When she tried to go to the rooftop, he had followed her, and they had ended up there. He had tried to make a move onto her, but was stopped by her kicking him. The stupid dude then took a few steps back, forgetting that there was no curb on the rooftop.

Yeah and he fell off and died.

Don't worry, the girl wasn't in trouble. She didn't cause him to fall down anyways.

Sadly, even though the human was somewhere in hell, the trauma he caused for Seonghwa and the girl were still fresh and very evident in them. The scars on Seonghwa were forever a testament to what he had suffered while with him.

"Ahh... Why did so many of them reject me?" Seonghwa pondered as he looked through his emails. He had started applying for jobs ever since that day, and only a few of them had gotten back to him. He had 3 jobs asking him to go for an interview, and had been rejected from the other 6.

He shut down his laptop and opened his phone, going through his instagram. He didn't have any followers, but used it as a way to know what was going on. He was shocked to see a post being circulated everywhere. Curious, he clicked on it to see what the hype was about

The president of the WQ Group, Kim Hongyun, has announced his son's engagement to Miss Maddy Bang, the daughter of millionaire, Bang Junmin. They are expected to reveal who this mysterious heir is soon, with more and more news about him being announced recently.

Seonghwa rolled his eyes at the post. Ah, it was just the biggest group who owned the biggest and most expensive malls, restaurants, shops, hotels and even hospitals. They were by far the richest people in Korea.

One thing about them was that their president was already 60 years old, and his son, the heir, had not been announced yet. No one knew who he was, and he was always dubbed as the mysterious WQ heir.

However, it seemed like the heir would soon be announced, since more and more news of him was coming out recently.

Seonghwa sighed as he looked through his emails again. WQ was one of the companies that had accepted him for the 2nd round, and he had already done for the interview earlier that week.
