“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ”

THUD!!

With a deafening THUD, Yuna crash-landed onto the soft, cloud-like surface of Sky Island, bouncing a couple of times before rolling to a stop. She groaned in pain, her entire body aching from the impact. Slowly, she sat up, her face beet-red from the rough landing.

“Ugh… that was the worst idea ever,” Yuna muttered, rubbing her sore face, feeling the sting of the impact. Her frown deepened as she touched her forehead, wincing. “I’m never letting Sir Gan Fall do anything like that again!”

Her first instinct was to check on her waver. She quickly scrambled to her feet and scanned the area. Off in the distance, bobbing gently on the Sky Sea, was her waver—completely intact.

Yuna let out a huge sigh of relief, slumping slightly as the tension left her body. “At least you’re okay,” she muttered to the waver, as if it could understand her. She felt the cool breeze of the Sky Island blow past her, but all she could do was shake her head at the madness she had just survived.

"Now… let’s hope the rest of this trip isn’t as crazy," she mumbled, walking toward her waver.

Yuna trudged through the clearing, muttering under her breath as she approached her waver. The chaotic journey to the sky had left her rattled, and her waver was barely holding together after the reckless ascent.

Just as she reached it, a shadow loomed over her, and a gust of wind signaled the arrival of someone familiar. She looked up, and there he was: Sir Gan Fall, descending with his pink bird Pierre, wings flapping gently as they landed in front of her.

“Yuna!” Gan Fall greeted, laughing heartily. “Made it in one piece, I see!”

Yuna shot him a glare. “Barely! You call that a way to bring someone to Sky Island? My waver’s nearly falling apart, thanks to you!"

Gan Fall waved it off with a chuckle. “Ah, you made it, didn’t you? A little excitement never hurt anyone. Besides, it’s the only way to make sure you experience the thrill of getting here!”

Yuna sighed, slumping her shoulders. “I swear, I’m never getting used to this place…”

Gan Fall gave a light-hearted pat to Pierre before turning back to Yuna. “Come, follow me to the castle. Sandania can look after your waver, no problem. We’ll get it sorted.” With that, he blew into a small whistle that hung from his neck, sharp and clear.

Moments later, the foliage rustled as heavy footsteps approached. Yuna blinked, recognizing the familiar presence even before he stepped out of the trees.

“Wyper?” she said, eyes wide with surprise.

The moment the warrior of Shandia appeared, his stern face turned into a scowl, especially when his eyes locked on Yuna. “You.”

Yuna’s expression morphed into a mischievous grin. “Ohhh, Wyper! It’s been ages!” she called, her voice exaggerated. Then, her tone became mockingly playful. “Still mad about me using Skypiea tech in the Blue Sea?”
