The Holy Land of Mariejois, Gorosei Meeting Chamber. The sun barely cuts through the high windows of the ornate room, casting long shadows across the floor. The Gorosei, the five most powerful men in the world, sit in a circle around a grand table. Their faces are aged and weathered, but their sharp eyes burn with intelligence and power. Papers lie scattered before them, reports from the World Government’s network of spies and agents.

At the center of the table, a single newspaper rests—its headline shocking. The island of Elegia, obliterated. Eyewitnesses claim it was the work of the Red-Haired Pirates.

Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, the elder with deep-set eyes and a long white beard, is the first to speak. His voice is low and grave, but steady as if accustomed to giving orders that can change the world.

"It looks like Red-Hair has finally made his move."

His statement hangs in the air, carrying weight that everyone in the room understands. The silence that follows is heavy, broken only by the faint ticking of a clock in the background. After a moment, the bald-headed Saint Shepherd Ju Peter, wearing small circular glasses, leans forward, his expression one of growing irritation. He had never liked pirates, but Red-Haired Shanks and his woman, Yuna, were particularly bothersome.

"Same as his woman." He sneers. "Both of them are troublesome."

The disdain in his voice is palpable as his fingers drum lightly on the polished wood of the table. His next words come with a sharp edge.

"Should we send someone to assassinate them?"

His words are calm, but the implication is lethal. The room goes quiet, each elder contemplating the suggestion. For them, lives are pawns to be moved on the board of global politics. Even legends like Shanks and Yuna are not immune to their schemes. Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro, with his thick mustache and deep wrinkles, squints in thought, but doesn’t speak.

After a tense moment, Saint Figarland Garling raises his head, his weathered features. He rests his chin on his hand, calculating, always patient. Garling’s reputation for waiting for the perfect moment was well known.

"No need."

His voice cuts through the room like a blade, silencing any further discussion on assassinations. The other elders turn their eyes to him, waiting. Garling straightens in his chair, the soft rustle of his robes barely audible as he leans back, casting a glance at the newspaper.

"It’s not the time yet." He pauses, letting his words sink in. "From now, we will raise their bounties."

A grin plays at the edge of his lips, as if he's already enjoying the chaos that will follow. His eyes narrow, and he taps the table with a single finger.

"Spread the word: for any information, or anyone foolish enough to try and catch them, there will be rewards."

Garling's voice, usually calm and collected, grows sharper, more dangerous.

"Their bounties will speak for themselves."
