Night's breath became labored and she felt her skin tingling. Her eyes had fallen upon something definitely not human. From what Night could see, the figure was standing behind the couch with its arms forward and hands gripping the top of the couch. Its hands had long, deadly sharp claws that appeared to be a silver color. She glanced from each arm, too terrified to see the face again at the moment. The figure's right arm was bare and was composed of two different colors, which were stitched; it went from a brown to a light brown, and repeated that pattern up the muscular arm. Its left arm was covered by an oversized sleeve that was bright orange, but the fingers that poked out were a rusty caramel color. Night dared to look at the figure's face again and bit her bottom lip, keeping herself from gasping. Its face had four different colors. It was stitched down the center and horizontally a little ways under the eyes. The top right stitched piece of its face was the same light brown color on its right arm, and the stitched piece under it was the same darker brown color. The top left stitched piece was a light salmon skin tone color and the one under it, the same color as its fingers that were poking out from under the left arm's sleeve.
A bead of sweat dripped down Night's face as she studied the creature's only visible eye, which was the right eye, for the left one was covered by long uneven bangs. The sclera of the eye was a light grey, the iris a light yellow, and the pupil a darker yellow. The eye was widened, kind of like Jeff's, and all around its eye was a blood red color. The most interesting thing about the red was that the red under the eye had two 'V' shaped patters which were filled in. Its hair was thick and flared out, stopping at chin level. The top was a light reddish brown color and the rest faded out to a rust color. Night turned her head to see Jeff scowling at the creature, his knife drawn. "You owe us some answers. Now, we can do this the hard way, or the easy way. Which is it gonna be?" Jeff hissed threateningly. The creature chuckled and removed its hands from the top of the couch, walking out from behind it for its whole body to be seen. The only clothing it had on its torso was torn. Where the right sleeve should be, was only a thin tattered strip that hung on the shoulder, and it was torn the rest of the way across, not connecting to the sleeve on the left arm. The bottom of the shirt's length was ripped and short enough to be exposing the stomach.
From what Night could perceive, the creature's structure seemed to be completely stitched and in a pattern. The whole body was stitched down the center and every so often, horizontally. The right side consisted of brown and light brown patches while the left had light salmon and rusty caramel patches. The being smiled widely, revealing teeth that were the same silvery color as its claws. Night furrowed her brow as the creature continually laughed psychotically. Night eyed the seemingly male's muscular body; the muscular arms, toned stomach, and face told Night that it was a male, but the waist and hips were rather feminine. Night reached her hand to grab her chain that she usually has in her belt loops to her pants, but her fingers only brushed cloth. She frowned and looked down to see her chain wasn't with her. Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit. Her thoughts hissed. Jeff glanced quickly over the see Night's panic and understood immediately why; she was practically unarmed.
"Can you speak? Are you hostile?" Night gulped, questioning the frightening unhuman thing. The creature ceased its laughter and cocked its head slightly, smiling at Night. "Very much so." Its voice was insane sounding with a rather uneven pitch; it wavered from a high pitch at the beginning of the short sentence to a low pitch at the end. Night groaned mentally to herself. She didn't have any real way to fight this thing, unless she used the lighting from the moon to her advantage. The creature shifted and then it happened all so quickly. There was a loud bang and a growl from Jeff, Night was on her back, and it was darker in the room than before. Night hissed in confusion and sat up quickly, blinking her eyes furiously, trying to get them to adjust to the abrupt darkness quickly.
