Rage began to pulse throughout Night's chest and head as she lay her eyes upon a rock. She was standing a fair distance away from a small body of water; which was approximately a few feet deep. A small abundance of red cedar trees surrounded her location as well, their branches swaying slowly in response to small gusts of air. Night placed her right index finger to her right temple, closing her eyes as her brow furrowed and nose crinkled. After about a minute, she lowered her hand back to her side and opened her eyes. She took a deep breath, her chest puffing out as she did so. And then she released the air into a tremendous yell. "JE-FF!" She carried the 'e' out as long as she could without wasting all of her breath. For a couple seconds, it was silent; then laughter erupted from behind one of the cedar trees. Night shot her head quickly in the direction of the giddy laughing, a tight frown on her face.

As Night's eyes burned on the tree, a bright figure stepped out from behind it. Of course, it was none other than the irritating Jeff. Night's eyes immediately glued themselves to Jeff's hands, spotting what was missing from the rock. In his left hand, he held a pair of smooth black sneakers; and in the other hand, a pink and yellow striped sock and a blue and pink striped sock. Night stomps furiously towards the obviously still amused Jeff, stopping a foot away from him and placing her hands dramatically on her hips. "I go to rest my feet in the water for two damn minutes and my shoes are gone! Now my feet are all dirty again!" She growls, narrowing her eyes at Jeff. His cheeks crease themselves, indicating a genuine smile. Night takes note of this, getting increasingly irked. She purses her lips and presses her teeth together. "You find this funny? Have you ever walked for so long that your feet began to sweat so much that the dirt that invaded your socks literally glued to your feet? It is so uncomfortable and annoying and now my feet are muddy and I do not appreciate that at all." As she speaks, Night's words come out sounding dangerous; though, Jeff not taking her serious as he begins to snicker.

In response to this, Night grits her teeth and lets out a growl. She launches herself out of anger at Jeff, toppling onto him and both falling over onto the ground. As they fell, the shoes and socks flew out of Jeff's hands as they instinctively opened. Jeff lets out a huff of air as his back collided with the not so soft grassy ground now under him, Night having a softer landing on top of Jeff. Jeff stared up into Night's eyes as they glimmered with intense irritation. Her face was crimson with anger and Jeff couldn't help but think how hilarious it was to see her like this. To Jeff, Night was completely harmless. And for her to be so angry and actually try to strike out at him, it was a sight to see. Jeff couldn't suppress his merriment anymore and just busted out guffawing. Night felt offended as she stared down at him as he laughed. I'm scary! Why are you laughing? How annoying! Her thoughts began to match her emotions and she puffed out her cheeks. She rushed up to her feet and spun around to go retrieve her shoes and socks. Once she picked them up, she turned back around to face a still laughing on the floor Jeff.

"Well, I never!" She stated with great seriousness. She whipped back around to leave the idiot on the grass to his laughter while she went to rinse her feet off again. She stepped to the edge of the shallow pond, setting her shoes beside her on the ground with her socks in them. She bent over and rolled her pants up to mid-calf, then stepping her feet tentatively into the water. A shiver crawls up her spine as the cold washes itself over Night's skin. She shakes her head and lets out a 'br-' sound. With great relief, laughter can no longer be heard, being replaced by gasps for air. Night rolls her eyes. Was I really friends with such a dalcop? She lets out a sigh as she sits her buttocks down onto the ground, her feet still in the water. She grabs the yellow and pink striped sock first, lifting her left foot up out of the water. She shook her foot around, her attempt of drying it off. "You could just use your jacket to dry them off." Jeff's voice suggest behind her. It sounds above her, so he must be standing up now. Night 'hm's and looks down at her jacket. "Yeah, alright... it is hot and I could use some cool air against my arms." Keeping her left foot still up above the water, she puts the sock back into the shoe and starts to pull her jacket off. Once she got it off, she bent her knee, trying to get her foot closer to her. Jeff watched with hilarity as she began to dry her feet with her jacket. Wow, to be honest, I was just joking. But alright then. He thought to himself.
