The silence in the throne room was deafening. The King, the Queen, and their two heirs were staring down at the youngest prince. Dawne.

Dawne was unfazed by any of their intense stares. He had a hint of a smile on his perfectly thin pink lips. His eyes held such a mockery while looking at his family.

Dawne is the youngest of King Darin and Queen Petra. He shares the same magical energy of Xan with his elder siblings. Xan is the world that they live in and worship as their godmother. Xan is their goddess and she holds an unfathomable amount of invincible power at the core of the planet.

Petra prayed to the godmother Xan to bless her children with her unstoppable energy. She wanted to have three powerful, invincible children to rule the three corners of Xan.

In return, as a sacrifice, during her pregnancy, she temporarily renounced her royal life and traveled to the center of the planet. She stayed in a magical cave in solitary. She meditated for fourteen months with no food or water. Impressed by her faithful penance, the godmother Xan, granted her energy to her womb for the whole fourteen months.

At the end of the fourteenth month, she gave birth to magical triplets. The firstborn Sedrick, was born with the white energy of Xan, which would give him the ability to read the inner thoughts of others and manipulate their feelings and emotions. He can use the white energy as power blasts and make impenetrable magical shields.

The second child is a girl, Annora, with an enchanting beauty and she is born with the green energy of Xan. She was blessed with the ability to control the physicality of natural things and the hypnotizing voice of a siren.

The last born, Dawne, was born with the blue energy, the energy that binds the core of Xan. He has a magnetic attractiveness. He has the ability to move things with his mind. Given the core energy, he also holds the ability to materialize any weapons that he wishes and he can make them disappear. The weapon would have a sliver of the core's energy.

The three children were trained by their mother, who was also a magical being born in the sacred river of Eastern winter. The people of Xan believe that she was a gift given by their godmother Xan.

"I hope you understand the gravity of the reckless decision that you have taken, son.", the sovereign ruler, Darin, spoke in his heavy authoritative voice.

"I do, father.", Dawne answered calmly.

"Dawne, my sweet boy, why do you even think about leaving us? Leaving our home? Our people?", the queen asked in a wavering voice. The thought of letting her son go shook her whole being.

Dawne just looked at her but didn't say anything because he knew that whatever he said now, his mother would persuade him to stay home. That is not what he wishes for. He didn't like being a Prince. He admires the simplicity in one's life and he would rather live a nomadic life than live with such formalities and responsibilities. He always has been the lonely kid, who would isolate himself from everyone and explore new things on his own. He also hated to train with his siblings, but he never loved them all less. Even with a room full of people, he would be in his own little world because he hated the traditional world with customary rules that he had to abide by.

Being a prince, he found his lifestyle boring and purposeless so he decided to renounce his title and leave his home planet. He wanted to explore new worlds, meet new people, and learn their way of life. He is more of an explorer than a prince.

His silence for an answer, made the queen sigh, and she stood up from her throne which is made of the silver crystals that exist under the sacred river that she was born in. Her majestic river-blue attire added more grandness to her aged beauty. A white shawl was draped neatly from her waist and pinned on her shoulder, leaving a long trail behind her. When she stepped down, it flowed behind her elegantly. Her thick, long hair was in an uptight bun, decorated with beautiful sea beads and flowers.
