15. The Aroused Glow

"Are you going to be okay?", Alexandra asked worriedly as she entered her car. She was ready to leave for work and Dawne had to help her get ready as she was so in denial to go to work. He made her breakfast while she got ready for her work.

Dawne would miss her too but he understood the value of going to work and how employment worked in Earth. He didn't want to be the reason for the lack in her job and he was making it clear to her that morning as she kept complaining about going to work on Monday. Although, apart from the reason that Alexandra would miss being with him, she was worried about leaving both of them alone.

"Darling, I know almost half of the things in here. Worry not. We will be fine.", he leaned on the window frame of the driver seat while Olee was waving at her with a big smile.

"I will miss you, baby.", she pulled his face and kissed his lips. Olee gave a disgusted and quizzical look at them. Dawne smiled at her and gave her a brief kiss before saying, "I will miss you too, my darling flower. Have a wonderful day ahead."

They parted from the short and sweet kiss and she started the car, "Bye, babe! Bye, Olee!"

They both waved at her as she drove towards the road. Once her car was out of their sight, Olee jumped down from the Xanite's shoulder and looked up at him with folded hands and a raised eyebrow. Dawne was still watching the way his love just went with a soft smile, his heart already started to miss her warmth. Olee moved forward and kicked Dawne's legs to get his attention and Dawne looked down at his little friend's expression which was asking him so many questions.

Olee signed: I see you have seduced her too.

The smile on Dawne's face dropped and his gaze turned serious, "I love her, Olee. She loves me too."

Olee's jaw dropped to the ground and his eyes showed surprise at Dawne's admission.

"Yes. We both love each other and nobody seduced anybody. Our love is pure and deep."

Olee signed: You both love each other? Like real love? Like the love that you had at your young age?

Dawne had told Olee about his past life in Xan and Olee knew almost most of the things about Dawne.

Dawne nodded, "Yes, like that but Xandra is different. She could not be compared to any of those brats back in Xan. She is beyond compare with anyone. Our love cannot be described in relation to my past love lives either. And I swear on the Xan blood running through my veins, I love her dearly and I will never leave her or hurt her or disappoint her in any way."

Olee looked down while thinking, then looking up he signed: Does that mean we will never leave this planet?

Dawne nodded in response and Olee signed: So this is the end of our journey?

Dawne hated to admit that his space exploration had come to an end after a long time, but he said, "Yes. This is where we are going to spend the rest of our lives."

Olee looked down, thinking deeply with his finger tapping on his lips. After a minute, he looked up at Dawne and signed: I would love to be here too but I'm worried about her.

"Why?", Dawne frowned.

Olee signed with a cheeky smile: Well, we have a big reputation as mischief-makers, and you...are quite a notorious womanizer which makes it impossible for me to believe that you are in love with her. She is going to have stressful days handling us, especially you.
