19. The Untold Origin

Next day evening...

Dawne, Olee and Alexandra were sitting on the bed in her bedroom. Dawne was walking back and forth while explaining about his first day at work. Alexandra was smiling happily in content when she saw the enthusiastic glee twinkling in Dawne's eyes.

"Lancy was truly impressed by my tattooing skill. If you are thinking that I am bragging, yes, I am. But I'm not exaggerating, darling. When I showed her my tech, she was blown! She said that she could use it for a special package which she then explained to me that, the people who wants to get tattooed with my tech, have to pay a larger amount than that normal tattoo with Lancy's tattoo gun, which was cool by the way.", Dawne giggled and added, "I gave a her tattoo on her wrist. She gave me a design and I did it exactly, well more precisely and you know what? It was fantastic! I was ecstatic to see the approval on her face. I asked her to send you a picture of it so that you can look at my amazing hand skill."

Alexandra was smiling at him dreamily as he was ranting about his work. She chuckled as Dawne immediately took her phone from her hand bag and started to check for any messages from Lancy.

"I think she forgot to send you a picture.", Dawne muttered as he saw that there wasn't any message from Lancy after the one where she had sent him about a few details about the job.

Alexandra hugged Dawne and kissed his cheek, "That's fine. I know very well that my boyfriend has a really professional tattooing skill. I'm very proud of you. I'm so glad that you love your job already. Most of us don't get that privilege.", she chuckled to herself.

Dawne kept the phone away and nuzzled into her chest, hugging her tightly, he sighed in satisfaction with a soft smile.

"I love you, darling. I love you so so so so so much! I don't know what I would do without you. You complete me. I feel more confident and happy with you. I'm truly a different self ever since I met you. I adore you more than anything in this Universe, Xandra.", Dawne leaned into her and planted a soft, innocent and sweet kiss on her lips and pulled back to look into her eyes.

"I'm honoured to be at your service, your royal highness.", Alexandra bowed her head and voiced those words out in English accent.

They both instantly laughed at her remark. Dawne pulled her onto his lap and hugged her waist, burying his face into her shirt, breathing in her scent and reveling in her warmth.

She then looked at Olee who was playing with a teddy bear that Dawne bought him on the way back home. Dawne didn't voluntarily buy him that. Olee was throwing a fit to buy him that big, fluffy brown teddy bear. Dawne insisted on not spending the money that Alexandra gave him unless it's a necessity but Olee wasn't having any of it. He threatened Dawne that if he didn't buy him that teddy bear, he would walk into the store without the invisibility cloak and steal the teddy bear himself. Dawne was forced to buy it.

Alexandra chuckled softly, looking at Olee's bright face as he got what he wanted. She picked them up at Inkredible after her shift was over and they came home. It was funny story for her as Dawne was complaining about Olee the whole ride back home.

"I'm surprised Olee behaved well today.", Alexandra chimed.

"Yeah, I'm baffled that he kept quiet and didn't cause any ruscus, but I was wrong, he indeed throw a big tantrums for that stuffed toy.", Dawne grumbled.

"Consider it as a treat for his good behaviour. He earned it today, didn't he?", she said, running her fingers through his hair.

"Yes, but I can't buy him treats everyday on useless things like this."

"A toy is not a useless thing. Especially when one loves to play with it.", she pointed out.

"Whatever.", Dawne gave up and he started to play with Alexandra's loose strands, laying on her lap, staring up deep into her alluring steel blue eyes that stole his heart. He couldn't keep his hands to himself whenever she was near him.
