Alexandra was working on her laptop sitting on the couch. It was 11: 20 in the morning. She jumped when she heard loud footsteps upstairs followed by Dawne screaming in pain, "XANDRA!!"
She out of the couch and she was about to climb the stairs when she saw a shirtless Dawne running downstairs, holding his head.
"Xandra!", he stopped in front of her. "Why my head is feeling like it's going to split?"
His eyes were glassy and red, his face red in pain, and his voice so strained and shaky. He didn't even give her a second to answer, he ran out of the living room.
"Dawne, wait!", she called him but he was out of sight. She was a bit confused though. Dawne was a strong being and planetary energy was running through his blood.
'Why just alcohol is affecting him this much? He is strong enough to take any hardest hit but a headache is too much for him?', she thought.
She went to the kitchen and took a glass of water and an aspirin. "He must be having some really bad hangover."
She ran to the front porch and she saw Dawne under the tree. He was kneeling in front of Olee while holding his head in pain. Olee was looking at him, helpless and sad.
"Dawne, just have this.", she knelt beside him.
"My head is aching so painfully!", he whimpered in pain. The sight was really harder for her to take. He was in pain and she hoped it would be gone soon.
"It's okay, Dawne. It's just a terrible hangover. Trust me, this will help.", she brought the glass to his lips and he drank the water. She handed the pills to him and he swallowed it after taking a few sips.
"It's still aching.", he groaned and leaned against the tree.
"Just relax. It's just a bad headache, Dawne. You will be fine.", she assured him.
Dawne was breathing heavily and sweating, he looked at the worried face of Olee and his eyes landed on Alexandra. He tried to remember what happened last night, but he didn't remember after buying drinks.
"What-why I can't remember anything?", he stood up, rubbing his temples.
"Dawne, just breathe-"
"What did I do? Did I do anything wrong? Did I do anything wrong to make you upset?", he asked frantically, looking between Olee and her.
Olee signed: You were so drunk, you big plonker.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong.", she answered at the same time Olee was signing.
Dawne was confused as to believe who. His gaze landed on Olee as he kept signing: She had to help you walk upstairs as you were stinking drunk. I don't know what you nitwit did on the bar.
He slowly looked at Alexandra, she was calm. "I'm sorry, Xandra, can you please tell me what I did? I can't remember anything."
She shook her head, "You don't have to remember anything. Just leave it. Everything is fine. I brought you home before anything could go bad."
"Please forgive me if I have caused any problem or misbehaved with you or disrespected you.", he looked down in shame.
"Hey, don't stress out, okay? You weren't doing any of that. You were just... enjoying yourself.", she said smiling.
Dawne wasn't convinced by her words after receiving cold eye daggers from Olee.
"Let's go inside. I'm gonna make lunch for you guys.", she said walking to the house. Olee and Dawne followed her quietly.
