Soon enough, the week passed and it was time for Baron and the king to visit the kingdom of the humans. Alora. Baron gave Magi a few goodbye kisses and Magi gave some back, licking his face. Baron laughs.

"Magi! Okay okay- I'll be back soon."

Magi barks and pants as she jumps on his legs. Baron smiles and waves at Magi as they start to leave.

The king and Baron both mounted in the black carriage and began their journey to the human kingdom.

Immediately the thoughts hit Baron in the carriage. This will be the first time he will be around humans. And not just two or three like he has been doing. Thousands. The thoughts of the tragic day he has been holding onto, flood back into his brain. He closes his eyes and his ears twitch. His leg starts to bounce anxiously.

The king, his father, reaches out to hold his hand. Baron gasps slightly and opens his eyes.

"Son. You know I'm proud of you."

The king smiles and the grip on his hand tightens a little.

"I know your mother would be too."

Barons breath hitches slightly as he nods.
"Thank you father." Baron smiles and tightens his hand with his as well.

Eventually they get to Alora. The smell of human fills barons nose immediately. Even if he was in the carriage. His heart begins to race as he starts to calm himself down. He remembers why he is here and inhales deeply. He gets out of the carriage.

Some guards' by the entrance go pale as they see the king and his son dismount the carriage. The king was wearing his usual robe and crown, while Baron had his hair in a high ponytail, and a formal outfit.

Some guards whisper and some even shake. Baron never understood why the humans were so scared. After all, they attacked first, from the beginning. They begin to walk inside, trying their best to ignore the human maids, guards, and butlers' looks and glares.

"Tsk." Baron clicks his tongue and begins to enter the throne room. Same as they did in Salhai, they dismiss Serene and Baron to explore the castle. Serene is wearing a light green dress today, her hair flowing down her back.

She smiles and grabs Barons' hand dragging him out of the throne room. Baron was caught off guard and blushed. Once she stops, Baron snatches his hand back.

"... don't touch me." He sighs and brushes off his shoulder.

"Sorry. I just really wanted to show you something I thought you'd like" Serene smiles and fixes her hair.

"I highly doubt i'd like anything from this kingdom of humans." He folds his arms.

"Well, at least give it a try. Come on." Serene begins to walk to a room.

It was a wide pearly ballroom. Light, glossy and pretty. Come to think of it, the kingdom of Salhais ballroom is Dark, night-like, but pretty. Almost like Baron and Serene. Straight Opposites.

Baron looks around before looking back at the princess. She was smiling still.

"What are you smiling for?" He rolls his eyes slightly.

"Well, do you like it?" She shrugs, chuckling slightly.

"I suppose. it's...unique." he answers hesitantly.

Serene holds her hands out. Baron looks down at her gloved hands.

"...what?" Baron asks

"It's a ballroom so...why don't we dance? Just for a bit."

Baron was caught off guard by the question for a second. Why would she want to dance with him? An average human girl would be screaming and crying by now.

"...there is no music." Baron says quietly.

"It doesn't matter. Let's just say it's practice." Serene shrugs.

"...i suppose it couldn't hurt." Baron sighs through his nose.

Baron looks at her, hesitating before taking one of her hands and putting the other on her waist. Serene puts her other hand on his shoulder. She looks up into his eyes. She starts to notice how beautiful his dark eyes were. Baron was trying not to blush at the position. They begin to move in slow steps.

They were dancing. A human and a Fae. Dancing.

Soon, they were just gliding, Baron had the courage to finally look at her in her eyes. They were...staring into each other's eyes. It's like they almost forgot where they were.

Without thinking, Baron leaned in slightly. While Serene was caught off guard now, she slowly leaned it too. They were so close their noses almost touched. They could almost hear each other's heartbeats.

Baron brushed a strand of hair behind Serenes ear, so close to her lips until....
