During cheer practice, as the team prepares for the upcoming game, Heather arrives late. Angel points this out, and Heather offers her apologies before they continue their session. Meanwhile, the Plastics engage in gossip, with Heather listening in. Later, Betty shares with Heather what she discovered on Martin's phone. Heather advises Betty to break up with him, but Betty argues that ending the relationship won't resolve their issues. Heather gives her a skeptical look, and they both exit. Betty and Edward then discuss the status of their relationship. Edward challenges her about still seeing Martin, to which she responds that it's complicated. He retorts, "Complicated my ass," and leaves her home. The following day, on Thanksgiving, Ms. Tiana and Coach Ward discuss the game and the cheerleading performance. The Evelon High Wolverines take the field, followed by the North Shore Red Devils, and the game commences as the cheerleaders perform "Good 4 U." After the performance, the Red Devils emerge victorious. The players head to the showers while the jocks strategize for their future games. Angel prepares for the evening, taking his time while everyone else is out. Eugene enters, boosting his confidence for the performance, and they share a kiss that leads to a moment of intimacy, only to be interrupted by Joseph, who discreetly goes about his business and grabs his bag. Meanwhile, the Red Devil cheerleaders are heading to Angel's house for a sleepover. They all pile into a limousine and make their way to his residence. At the Green household, Kelly knocks on Marie's door to discuss recent events. During their conversation, Marie expresses her feelings of being an outcast, and despite Kelly's attempts to offer support, Marie shifts the blame onto her. Frustrated, Kelly finally confronts her and leaves the room. At the sleepover, the group enjoys activities like doing nails and hair, indulging in pizza, playing Just Dance, savoring ice cream, engaging in pillow fights, and smoking weed. Later, as the others drift off to sleep, the Plastics approach Heather with an invitation to join their group. Initially hesitant, she ultimately agrees, and they reveal something special to her. Carolyn presents the burn book, showcasing its contents to Heather. Heather notices the page about Martin and pays close attention. When asked if she has any gossip, she writes, "Jela has HIV," but Rose advises her to add, "What a nasty slut." Heather complies, and they place the burn book away before heading to bed. The following morning, the Plastics give Heather a makeover, and they arrive at school, performing their iconic five-way walk down the hallway, drawing the attention of everyone around. From a distance, Betty, Kelly, and Marie observe, with Betty feeling a pang of jealousy. During lunch, the Plastics order pizza and engage in gossip. Betty criticizes Heather, calling her fake, but Kelly attempts to lighten the mood, while Marie remarks that everything and everyone is fake before walking away. After school, Eugene texts Angel about meeting at Fountain Square, and Angel agrees, informing the Plastics of his departure before driving off. Upon arriving at Fountain Square, he and Eugene discuss their relationship, with Eugene suggesting they start dating. Angel agrees, and they share a hug, reminiscing about their past relationship when they were twelve. Angel and Eugene return to Angel's car, where he drops Eugene off, and they share a kiss before he leaves. After Eugene exits, Angel drives home. Later that evening, Betty arrives at Edward's house, and he welcomes her inside. They head to his room to discuss their relationship and share some intimate moments together. Meanwhile, Angel is in his room, completing his homework while listening to soft indie music. Once he finishes, he packs his books into his bag, turns off the radio, and switches off the light. As he settles into bed, he receives a text from Eugene that reads, "goodnight bae 🖤," which brings a smile to his face. Eugene quickly follows up with, "wait sorry can I call you that?" Angel chuckles and replies, "obviously 🙄." Eugene then texts, "okie then bae," to which Angel responds, "goodnight baby 🤍." He then sets his phone to Do Not Disturb and drifts off to sleep.
