Principal Duvall activates the fire alarm, prompting a chaotic evacuation of the school. The Plastics leave in their car, heading to Angel's house, where they share laughter and discuss the impeccable timing of the incident. Meanwhile, Martin is seen wandering as classmates chant "Martin is gay" repeatedly. Marie rushes home, dashing to her room, but a printed page from the burn book slips from her hoodie. Her mother discovers the page and heads upstairs. She knocks on Marie's door to discuss the contents, leading Marie to confide in her mother, who offers comfort and support. As Christmas Break concludes, school resumes, and The Plastics strut down the hallway in their signature five-way formation. Betty confronts Ashley about the video upload, while Heather admits her involvement, sparking a heated argument over Betty's relationship with Edward. Heather derogatorily labels Betty a "slutty North Shore whore," leading to a physical altercation, with Ashley nearly intervening if Heather falters. Later, Betty finds herself in the principal's office, recounting the events from the party, while Heather is also summoned to discuss the fight and the burn book. Heather refuses to upload the video and claims to know nothing about the book. The principal demands evidence, and Heather presents her photos, including those she has deleted. Meanwhile, Ashley is in the office discussing the recorded sex tape; she denies any involvement, but when asked to allow a search of her photos for verification, she discreetly deletes the video. Angel is also in the office regarding the leaked burn book; he denies responsibility, but Principal Duvall asserts that he is aware of Angel's involvement. In response, Angel stands up and declares, "My parents will be informed about this," before leaving. Later that night, Martin scrolls through comments on his video, where he is called "the north shore faggot." Overwhelmed with emotion, he grabs a gun and points it to his head but ultimately refrains from pulling the trigger. The Plastics include Betty in the final page of the burn book, labeling her "the newest slutty north shore whore." At Betty's home, she blocks and unfollows Heather on all platforms. Rebecca knocks on Betty's door, and they discuss the recent events. Rebecca offers Betty some advice, and they share a hug. A few days later, Aaron shares with Rose about his magazine, mentioning that one of the models became pregnant and chose to leave. Rose offers to step in as the new model, and he agrees. During the photoshoot for W magazine, Rose is captured on camera while the Plastics cheer her on from a distance. Once the shoot concludes, the Plastics begin to gossip about Martin, speculating that he is considering framing him. Carolyn suggests that he should also be framed for recording the video. In a meeting with Principal Duvall and the Georges, the principal expresses concern that Angel may have uploaded a child pornography sex tape and published a book containing damaging remarks about others. Angel quickly shifts the blame to Martin, presenting fabricated screenshots that show Martin confessing to orchestrating the video and the book as an act of revenge. When Principal Duvall questions why Martin would label himself as a "secretly gay fad" in the book, Angel manipulates the situation by claiming it was to make the story more credible. Principal Duvall accepts Angel's explanation and apologizes for any inconvenience caused. Principal Duvall reflects to himself that this situation feels eerily familiar. Meanwhile, at Angel's house, Eugene sends a text to Angel indicating that they need to have a conversation. Later, at Fountain Square, they discuss their relationship, acknowledging their differences. Eugene characterizes Angel as "wealthy, malevolent, kind, and harsh," while he sees himself as "grounded and easygoing." Eugene then confronts Angel about leaking the book and the video. Angel confesses to the act, wishes Eugene well, and drives away. Back at home, Angel breaks down in his room. His parents call out, "We're heading to game night," to which Angel responds, "Okay," as they leave. After taking a shower, Angel hears a noise from downstairs. Initially ignoring it, the sound grows louder, prompting him to investigate. From a distance, he spots Martin, whom he suspects has ulterior motives. However, upon seeing the gun, Angel flees as Martin pursues him. Ultimately, Angel grabs a bat and strikes Martin multiple times, causing blood to spill. He drops the bat and checks for a pulse, only to discover that Martin is lifeless.
