Five Evil Plastics

A new year has begun, and the town is in a frenzy searching for Martin, who has been reported missing. At school, Angel confronts a group known as the Plastics, claiming he killed Martin. Initially, they are skeptical, so Angel recounts the events leading up to Martin's disappearance. They urge him to remain calm and assure him they will address the situation after school. Meanwhile, the police and Lawrance arrive at the high school to question students about Martin's last known whereabouts. Betty is the first to be interviewed, followed by Heather, Angel, Rose, Edward, and Joseph, each providing their accounts of when they last saw Martin. After the interviews, Lawrance expresses his suspicion that Edward is hiding something. Once school is over, the Plastics drive to Angel's house, rush into his room, and discover Martin's lifeless body in the closet, causing them to panic. Angel advises the group to remain calm and emphasizes the importance of keeping their situation confidential. They all agree and exit the closet together. At Betty's home, she and Rebecca discuss the recent events in Betty's life, with Betty attributing her troubles to her mother and expressing regret about not moving when they had the opportunity. Afterward, Betty heads upstairs, and Edward knocks on her window. She lets him in, and they engage in a conversation about their lives and relationship. They ultimately decide to officially start dating, share a kiss, and become intimate. Meanwhile, at dinner, Kelly and Marie's mother brings up the possibility of relocating to California for better opportunities, leading to a heated argument. The mother asserts that the decision is not theirs to make, prompting Marie to storm out of the house, with Kelly chasing after her. At the Samuels' residence, Aaron is preparing dinner while listening to "Rain on Me." He suddenly hears screams and loud noises, prompting him to investigate upstairs, where he finds Rose in her room, screaming in agony. He quickly calls the police. Later, at the hospital, Aaron and the rest of the Plastics await news, and Dr. Ambrose informs them that Rose is stable but pregnant, eliciting a range of reactions from the group. Eugene is depicted gazing at a photograph of Angel when his mother enters the room. She shares her memories of Eugene and Angel, prompting him to update her on their current relationship. He expresses his feelings of missing Angel, which leads him to tears, and she comforts him with a hug. Meanwhile, Lawrance is at home conversing with the police, who provide him with updates regarding Martin's disappearance, mentioning that he was last seen at George's residence. Later that evening, the police arrive at George's door, where Angel responds. They inform him that Martin's last known location was at this address, but Angel disputes this, suggesting they investigate Betty's house instead. The police and Lawrance then proceed to Betty's home. Upon arrival, Betty answers their inquiry about Martin's whereabouts, claiming she has no information. At that moment, Rebecca appears at the door, and Lawrance expresses his concern about his missing son. She assures him that Martin has not been there, prompting Lawrance to thank her before heading home. At school, Rose is depicted walking through the hallway, preparing to inform Joseph about her pregnancy. However, she is interrupted by Benjamin, who informs Joseph that football practice is scheduled for after school. Consequently, Rose approaches Angel to seek advice on how to break the news, and he offers her some guidance. Heather then arrives, and the three of them head to class together. Meanwhile, at George's house, Karen is doing laundry and enters Angel's room, attempting to access his closet, which is locked. After several unsuccessful attempts to unlock it, she places the laundry basket in front of the closet door and leaves. Later, during lunch at school, Betty shares with Marie and Kelly the events of the previous night. Edward approaches and kisses Betty, prompting the Plastics to enter the lunchroom. They notice Edward with Betty, and as they sit down, Heather makes disparaging remarks, to which Carolyn retorts that she should go find some new partners. After school, at the fountain square, Rose waits for Joseph, who eventually arrives, and they share a kiss. She then reveals the pregnancy test to him, but he reacts by saying she better be joking. This leads to a heated argument about their age and his readiness for fatherhood. Before Rose can express her feelings, Joseph breaks up with her and walks away, leaving her in tears. Angel arrives home and heads upstairs to his room, noticing that the closet door is ajar. He grabs his laundry basket and moves further inside, only to discover that Martin's body is gone. In shock, he drops the basket and screams.
