Neli didn't say anything to Caleb until they finished eating dinner in their villa, he never heard his wife speak again either after she finished talking to Chief Pascual.

Caleb started to get anxious and restless, he knew his wife was angry and upset because she was still ignoring him even though he apologized to her several times.

Caleb couldn't even lie down next to his wife on the bed because he didn't want her anger to get worse, and decided to kneel on the side of the bed where she was facing but Neli immediately turned her back on him.

"I'm sorry I was wrong... I shouldn't have done that without telling you."

Neli didn't respond so he continued to explain.

"It's not because I don't trust you my wife, but I hope you understand that I only did that to protect you and our child." he added. "That woman wanted me from the beginning, so I thought I should be the one to end her madness. I want everything to be clear to her so that she would change her mind and surrender to the police."

Caleb didn't mention that he had prepared himself to die, because if his wife finds out about that, he knows that she will be even more angry with him. He also surrendered the gun he was hiding to Chief Pascual earlier, and made sure that his wife wouldn't see it.

"I... I want you to live a peaceful life together with our child, I want both of you to be safe."

A few seconds passed but his wife still didn't say a word, he knew she was still awake because he could still hear her faint sniffling.

"...I'm sorry, my wife."

After Caleb apologized several times, he saw that his wife had lifted the blanket behind her as if she was telling him to lie down next to her. He immediately lay down and hugged her tightly from behind while apologizing again and again.

Two days after, Neli decided to go to the precinct after she heard that Hazel was already arrested in the hospital.

Her husband couldn't do anything but to stay in the car and agreed to what she wanted because she said that her annoyance towards him still hasn't subsided.

Hazel was taken to the interrogation room where Neli and her five bodyguards were waiting, Chief Pascual also put handcuffs on Hazel to make sure that she couldn't harm her.

Hazel was still weak because her wound didn't completely healed yet, but Neli didn't feel any pity, instead she was annoyed with herself because she was the one who decided to take Hazel to the hospital after she was shot by the police.

Why can't she just let Hazel die? Why does she always think that it is her fault if Hazel dies? Neli had every right to kill her, but she couldn't do it nor want her to die and she couldn't help but be annoyed with herself because of that.

Neli thinks that if she prays for Hazel to die, she's as well like a murderer, and what's the difference between her and Hazel if she kills her?

"What... do you want?" Hazel said to her after she sat on the chair facing her. "Aren't you happy now... that you took Caleb away from me?"

"I didn't steal Caleb from you, Hazel." she said.

But now that Neli is facing the woman she hates the most, she couldn't help but think that she should have just let her die at the hands of the police back then.

She should not have feel sorry for her because she deserves what is happening to her, and it was still not enough to pay for what she has done.

"I gave you a chance to be with Caleb but he chose me after I came back, I let you do whatever you want to me back then but Caleb realized what you were doing was wrong and fixed everything between us. Caleb chose me, not you Hazel... so how can you say that I took Caleb away from you?"
