Chapter 62.

The next day, Neli and Caleb went to the coffee shop early to help with the morning chores.

They had discussed before that she would not work on the weekends because that was the only day they could spend the entire day together because her husband doesn't have work. But last night, when she told her husband that Rhea won't come to the shop because she will visit her father's grave, he immediately agreed and said that he would help in the shop as long as she would just stay in her office until the afternoon shifts comes.

But Neli felt bored inside her office, and hadn't seen her husband for more than an hour after they had lunch so she decided to go out. She noticed that their coffee shop was unexpectedly busy, and most of the customers were women who seemed to be watching something... or perhaps watching someone.

Neli pouted and felt annoyed as she turned her gaze to the counter where those women were looking at and saw her husband there, who was busy taking the customer's order.

Jealousy engulfed her, she couldn't stop herself from approaching her husband and wanted to block him from the gaze of those women. But she was surprised when Caleb suddenly pulled her carefully on her waist and kissed her forehead, as if there was no customer in front of them.

"Honey, what are you doing here?" he asked her with a worried face, and turn back to the customer. "Oh, here's your change. We'll just call your number when your order is ready."

"Sir. Caleb, I'll take care of the counter." Tina suddenly said with a smile as she approches them, she's one of her staff. "Thank you, Sir."

"It's fine, are you all guys done taking your breaks?" Caleb asked.

"Yes, Sir. Caleb."

Caleb didn't even removed his arm that wrapped around her waist even after he finished talking to her staff.

"I'm sorry if I didn't get back inside right away, the customers suddenly increased while your two staff were taking a break so I helped them a little." he said while supporting her as they walked back to her office. "Are you bored? Do you want to go home?"

Neli just shook her head and smile, the annoyance she felt earlier was replace with joy because of the extra care he was doing for her.

When the afternoon shifts arrived at three o'clock in the shop, Caleb and Neli decided to go shopping at the mall for their little one's clothes.

The couple was full of joy and excitement as they shopped clothes for their little one, and went home after they brought snacks to her staff.

But they suddenly received a call from Chief Pascual as soon at they arrived at their villa.

Two weeks ago.

Hazel was confused when she suddenly woke up in a hospital room, she thought that everything that happened to her was just a dream... no, it was a nightmare. But reality hit her when she saw three men enter the room who seemed to be the bodyguards of the Valdez family, along with three other policemen.

Even though she was not fully recovered yet, the police immediately arrested her and took her to the police station and was put in the jail where her mother was also detained.

Her mother was shocked to see her being dragged by the police.

"Hazel, didn't I tell you to hide?" her mother said angrily as she lay herself on a small bed inside their cell. "Why didn't you listen to me?"

Hazel didn't even know what happened, she knew she was about to convince Caleb to live together in another country when suddenly the police arrived in their location.
