Chapter 63.

"Huh?"

Hazel suddenly saw her cousin Rhea outside their cell when she stood up from her bed, and couldn't stop her blood from boiling with anger.

She was one of those people who betrayed her along with her father Raymond, and she couldn't believe that she was still alive.

Why?

They betrayed her back then but why is she outside the prison while she is inside, it's so unfair.

While they were living peacefully, she was suffering in prison. They should be behind bars as well, those who betrayed her back then deserve to be imprisoned and not her.

"Didn't I tell you to kill her as well?!" Hazel said angrily when she turned to her mother. "You're so useless, you can't even do your job properly!"

"What did you just say?" Hanna couldn't believe what her daughter said to her. "I don't even know who is that woman!"

"I told you to kill those two, that bastard Raymond and his daughter."

"You asked me to kill Raymond who was in jail, but you never mentions his daughter!"

"So my suspicion was correct, that you killed my father."

Hazel and Hanna turned outside when they heard Rhea's voice, she was standing near their cell and perhaps she also heard their conversation. But she has no reason to lie to her anymore, because she's already in jail.

She was in her rock bottom, and saying the truth to Rhea will not change anything. And besides, she deserves to know the truth because it was her father who died after all.

"Yes, we killed your father. Well, that's what will happen to the people who betrayed me." she smirked. "You're just lucky because this bitch didn't know you, but you should still be careful with your life... because you never know when you will lose it."

Hazel knows that Rhea can't do anything to her so she doesn't care about the things that come out of her mouth. Besides, she also needs to get the anger she feels out of her chest so that she can somehow think of a plan... to get out of jail.

Rhea's body trembled with anger.

She was once grateful with her cousin, because she was the one who helped her to enter the modeling industry.

Rhea met Hazel when her mother died, because her Uncle Richard let her live in their house for about a year until she suddenly disappered. According to her uncle, she got adopted by a rich family so he decided to go back to their hometown in Mindanao after. 

After three years, she saw Hazel in a movie that she and her father watch.

She was amazed because even though they are same age, her cousin is making her own name in the entertainment industry so she asked her father to talk to Hazel for help so that she could somehow work alongside her. After three years of being her personal assistant, Hazel brought her to the agency owned by her adoptive mother and from then on she was trained to become a model.

But Rhea never thought that her father's life would be the payment for what Hazel did to help her back then.

"And you don't seem to regret what you did." she said.

"You both are to blame for why he died, Rhea." she replied. "If you both just shut your mouth and hadn't sided with the wrong person, that thing wouldn't have happened to him."

Rhea didn't seem to know how she would react to what Hazel said, she was full of herself as if she did nothing wrong. She took her father's life easily just because they did the right thing, as if that happens normally to the people who betrayed her.
