Ch. 18 ~ Reconciliation?

Since mom died. I didn't remember Dad is talking to us or giving us his time. He's so caught up with our business. Honestly, I shouldn't have blamed him. He gives us a comfortable life every child wishes to have but hoping that besides material needs, we need his time too and can feel him as our father.

"What do you mean about this Dunk?"

I can see Dad's angered. He was staring at PJoong seriously. I haven't seen him in displeased before this.

"I'm dating PJoong Dad and if you're against our relationship too. we're going to leave the mansion. You're not obligated to accept us but you cannot seperate us too"

Auntie Kao took PJoong's hand away from me. She's not pleased with our relationship too and she's blaming PJoong just like what she's done to Milk.

"Joong what's this? Are you using Dunk to take revenge on me?"

PJoong takes her mom's hand away from him.
He grabbed my hands and held it firmly.

"Mom what's going on between us has nothing to do with Dunk"

I can't stand seeing them judging us. If it's other people I can accept it but all we need is their understanding.

"I know that we might look weird for you and to other people, of course who would accept easily when you realize your two children are gays?"

Auntie Kao tried to stop my Dad from saying anything, he's lowering his voice now.

"Dunk please, I know I've been busy and I didn't have time for you and with your sister but please don't do this to me. If you're mad because of what happened to your mom..."

"Please Dad don't use mom again. don't use our mom to deny the reality that we can't be the person you wish for us. We didn't plan or we chose to be like this. We are like you. Like everyone who wanted to love and be loved."

Love walked closer to him. He holds his hands and looked at him in his eyes. Love adores and respect our father so much.

"Dad we love you, We are hoping that you will accept us. We don't care about other people Dad..we care about you"

"Love..what have I done?"

"nothing Dad, we know you cared and loved us, honestly no one is at fault here"

"Honey you need to calm down yourself first. You know by disagreeing with our kids there's nothing good that will happen anymore. It's better that we know about their relationship first"

"But hon? what if people will judge our family? I mean I don't want them to experience the cruelty of society"

"We've been judged by them already honey. I haven't shared with you but I know your business partners, their wives are mocking me as golddigger and your mistress and they will tag that word with me forever"

Dad looked at his wife Kaojai. He never thinks that she was experiencing like this. All he knows is that Auntie Kao is having a good relationship with his business partner's wives.

"Dunk, Love you know why I'm getting angry with your situation right? But next time don't run away from me as if I'm the worst father in the world"

Love walked closer to him and hugged our Dad.

"Sorry Daddy"

"Dad"

I took Dad's hand and apologized to him too.

"Sorry Dad..I don't want to do these but....."

"Ssshh I'm wrong, I admit it. sorry. I don't know that I've been hard for you since your mom died"

We hugged our Father, it's been a while since we hugged him like this warmly.

PJoong and Milk smiled after they saw that we reconciled with Dad.

"Mom!"

Kao turned around and saw PJoong follow her in their room.

"Yes?"

"Can we talk?"

Auntie Kao smiled and led her to the balcony. It's been a while since PJoong talked to him calmly. After his father died from heart failure. Joong blames her for having an affair with another guy. I can sense the tension between them because I haven't heard PJoong talk about his mother all I remembered is he's talking more about how lucky they are to have a father like they have with Mr. Aydin but unfortunately he died young.

"Are you going to scold me over that I married your lover's father? Being gays is not my concern son., but legally. Four of you are like siblings now"

"Mom sorry"

"Huh? What happened?"

"Mom sorry, I didn't know you are suffering.. I shouldn't have hated you from Dad's lost"

"I never cheated on your Dad, I've been faithful to him but I can't deny that I still love Dunk's daddy while I marry your Dad..after your Dad got sick, he's encouraging me to follow my heart again. That I shouldn't have let anyone dictate my decision"

"So you planned to meet Dunk's father secretly?"

"That's not a plan or I wish to happen., We meet because of work but we can't stop having feelings for each other. The day we met on her birthday, we both decided not to meet each other again so we can protect our families. he promised that after our last meeting, he wanted to be a good husband to her but we didn't expect that she would follow him in the restaurant and they got into car accident"

"Mom sorry"

"You have nothing to sorry son, it's Mama's fault"

"No mom! I'm the one who give the information to Mrs. Boonprasert, I called her where she can meet you and Mr. Warin, I know what's going on with you two from the start. I wanted her to know about your relationship with him..but I didn't expect the car crash."

"Son???"

"Mom I killed Dunk's mom?"

Kao hugged his son who was sobbing hard from the guilt he had to our family.

"Phi, what are you talking about? Please tell me you're lying? You're lying right?"

"Dunk?"

PJoong turned around and saw me standing next to them. I don't know how long I'm stucked listening to them but my body is shaking and feels like I'm about to faint , I don't know what to do after hearing it from him.
