Mr. Warren Boonprasert, is it true that your two sons Joong and Dunk are dating each other?

Reporter 2:
what was your reaction after you saw the viral video Mr. Boonprasert?

about the negative remarks you receive from social media, how did you and your wife Mrs. Kaojai handles and discussed your son's relationship?

Dad was invited to a fashion brand event a day after our video went viral. He is one of the VIP guests and Dad knows already that the media won't leave him a chance to ask about my relationship with PJoong, I felt guilty  knowing that Dad will receive all the backlash and pressure from them. I am not sure yet if Dad would fully accept us or if he will force PJoong to break up with me. Dad always gives a positive impression in the fashion industry and he's one of the fashion legends everyone is looked up to. The scandal we brought to our family will surely stain his reputation to his friends and business partners.

"Ohhh can I answer one question at a time? I know you are all eager and excited about what I am going to say to you but let me breathe first"

Everyone in the crowd was laughing and smiling at him. Dad wanted to release the tension between him and the media reporters. He knows that some of the reporters are trying to tarnish his name using every word that will come out in his interview.

Dad reminds auntie Kao to look after us and don't let everyone leave the mansion. Before Dad went to the event he only said one thing to me.

"Let me handle this and don't do anything before the interview"

Honestly, this is my first time since mom died that I was longing for a dad and I know from that very moment he said he will handle everything, I felt my Dad again.

Dad hugged me and my sister Love before he went to the event, I was so scared about what will happen to him in the interview but I know that Dad is sharp and wise. He can handle them. We were just watching TV and waiting for his interview.

"Good evening everyone, before I answer your question, I just wanted to grab this opportunity to thank the organizer of these events and for those models and actors who really work well to promote our clothing brands. Thank you.

Dad looked around and saw everyone is giving their focus on him

"First of all, I just wanted to clarify for some who do not know who Dunk and Joong are to our family. Most of you here recognize Dunk is my eldest son from my late wife Aphrodite and Joong Archen to some who don't know yet is my wife Kaojao eldest son. Biologically speaking Joong and Dunk are not related."

Reporter 1:
but Mr. Boonprasert the main issue here is not about if they're related or not but....

"Issue? I mean why there's an issue? Tell me? What was the issue in the first place?"

The reporter cannot answer right away and looked at the other reporters first before he answered my Dad.

"I mean your son Dunk Natachai and Joong are dating right and both are..."

"Please say it... I'm waiting"

The reporter held back to answer Dad and tried to seek support from his co-reporter.

"both are homosexual Mr. Boonprasert"

Dad smiled after the reporter finally pin point the issues specifically the media wanted to throw on them.

"I know it already Mr...? May I know your name please?"

"I'm Somchai, Mr. Boonprasert"

"I knew it already Mr. Somchai"

Everyone in the crowd was surprised by Dad's answer. They started whispering and gossiping to each other.

Reporter 2:
So you tolerate your son and your stepson's behavior Mr. Boonprasert?

"Excuse me Mr. Somchai, may I ask from which community you belong with?"

Dad turned his attention back to Mr. Somchai and he couldn't answer him right away. Dad surprised him by asking something he didn't expect.

"I'm from the LGBTQ community"

Dad smiled.

"Do you have your partner's too, I mean boyfriend, husband?"

Mr. Somchai felt uncomfortable answering my Dad directly to the point question.

Mr. Somchai:
Excuse me Mr. Warren but it is not me who is supposed to answer the question here.

"But I wanted you to answer my question first so I can give you my answer too"

Mr. Somchai is having a hard time answering my Dad's question.

"Why? Is it still a secret? Are you still hiding it from your friend and from your family?"

Mr. Somchai:
Sorry but I'm not comfortable talking about my personal life to everyone"

"Exactly my point Mr. Somchai, see? You're uncomfortable talking about your private life but you are so determined to stir up someone's private space too. Aren't you very unfair to my two sons, Mr Somchai?"

[Dad thank you~ Dunk]

"Who among you here are also in the same boat with my two sons Joong and Dunk? Are you from the LGBTQ community right?"

Dad pointing out Mr. Somchai.

"how about you?"

He asked the lady from the corner.

"Who else is hiding here their sexuality from their parents and friends? What's the difference between my two sons from you here? Supposedly, you understand them very well right because you can relate too, you have your own secret, you have your own fears, you all wanted to be accepted by society but why can't you give the acceptance to my sons too?"

The crowd becomes quiet, they can't look directly at Dad.

"Not only are Joong and Dunk dating, my two lovely daughters are dating each other too"

Dad chuckled. Everyone can't react. My Dad already spilled everything.

"Then, what should I do? kicked them out in the house, cursed them? abandoned them? Tell me? What should a father do next after he learns about his children's sexuality?"

I can see Dad is crying now. PJoong hugged auntie Kao who can't stop crying too. Milk hugged my sister while I was holding her hands tightly.

"Honestly, as a father, I got scared too. at first, I wanted them to break up and change their preference for me. Because I'm afraid of people...people who are standing in front of me now..what will happen if all of you here will learn about them? I cannot stand seeing my sons and daughters being judged by you"

"but forcing them won't help the situation at all. I only pushed them to hate me and to run away from me.

"Parents, sisters, brothers or friends we need to realize that we are supposed to be their first supporters, the one who can understand them. How can they expect acceptance from society, if we cannot accept them first. When they feel unsafe from the world they live in., they can go home anytime. Our home should be their safe zone"

Reporter 3:
we apologize for the insensitive question we had earlier Mr. Boonprasert and I truly admire how you eventually accept and embrace your Children's sexuality despite that you will receive negative remarks like this. Sorry!

Everyone in the events including all the reporters bow their heads as a sign of their apology. Dad smiled and felt relieved. He gave his last word before he left the events.
