Months had passed since Jin and Jungkook tied the knot, and life had taken on a rhythm of blissful chaos. Jungkook’s over-the-top possessiveness, balanced with Jin’s sass, made their dynamic one-of-a-kind, but they were happy. Life had moments of quiet intimacy, loud laughter, and unexpected thrill, which Jin had come to accept as part of being married to a mafia lord.
One day, as Jin casually left work, humming to himself, he didn’t expect the sudden blackout. When he came to, he found himself in a dimly lit warehouse, hands tied behind his back, seated in an uncomfortable metal chair. Blinking, Jin surveyed his surroundings with a nonchalant expression.
"Great..." Jin thought sarcastically, tugging at the ropes binding his wrists. Being married to a mafia lord is more trouble than I thought. But, honestly, this feels more like an adventure than a problem.
Jin looked around, spotting a few burly men in suits standing near the warehouse door, talking in hushed voices. He smirked to himself. Despite the situation, he didn’t feel particularly scared. In fact, a strange sense of excitement bubbled inside him.
"So, you’re the mafia lord’s wife, huh? Let’s see if we can make you scream before your precious husband comes running." One of the man spoke, smirking, not noticing Jin's excitement.
"You really think this is going to work?" Jin asked, his tone almost bored. "I’m more annoyed than scared right now. And honestly... what’s with this cliché warehouse setup? Can’t kidnappers be more original?"
The kidnapper scowled, clearly irritated by Jin’s attitude. "Shut up!"
"Nah, I am not stopping unless you tell me,"
"Tell you what?"
"The plan, what's the plan here? Are you going to torture me or something? Because if so, I should warn you—I bite."
The men exchanged confused looks, clearly not expecting their hostage to be so unfazed. One of them walked over, glaring down at Jin. "You should be more scared, you know. Do you even realize who you're dealing with?"
Jin raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, yeah. Big bad kidnappers, scary stuff. But honestly, I’m more concerned about how you’re going to explain this to my husband when he finds out." He leaned back in his chair, as much as the ropes allowed, giving them a smug smile. "You know, Jeon Jungkook, the mafia lord who tends to get really upset when people mess with his family."
The man’s face faltered slightly, but he kept his tough stance. "He won’t be able to help you this time."
Jin snorted. "Oh, please. My husband Jungkook will be here any minute, and trust me, when he does, you're going to wish you never laid a finger on me." He tilted his head playfully. "But hey, while we wait, maybe you can entertain me. I’ve always wondered what the inside of a kidnapper’s brain looks like. Think I could get a taste?"
The guy blinked, looking taken aback by Jin’s weirdly cheerful tone and morbid comment. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
Jin shrugged. "What? It’s not every day you get kidnapped. Might as well make the most of it." He flashed an almost too-innocent grin. "But seriously, don’t think Jungkook’s going to let this slide. He’s a little... possessive."
"Can you fucking shut up!" He raised his hand, about to strike, but just as he moved, a gunshot rang through the air.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhh!"
The kidnapper’s hand was shot clean off, sending him stumbling back with a scream.Jin’s eyes flicked toward the entrance of the warehouse where Jungkook stood, casually holding a smoking gun. His face was calm, but the dark gleam in his eyes told Jin that someone was about to regret their life choices.
