"Doctor Cambrige, you are needed in room 305. Doctor Cambrige to Room 305." The call comes through the loud speakers as I let out a sigh. They really had him running today. This was the third room during my shift that they had Cambrige called to. Though considering he was our supervising doctor, this sort of activity wasn't much of a surprise.

I just chew my food like I usually do: Staring at the wall blankly and only stopping once I had no more on my tray. Yet I guess I should have suspected today to be different. My vision was broken by a figure sitting in the chair across from me, her smirk meeting my tired eyes. I start a bit, staring at the red-head in front of me.

"Hey, nurse-boy." The green-eyed red head comments, her black leather jacket crunching a bit as she crosses her arms across her chest. "Ally-? What are you doing here?" She shrugs at my question and I narrow my eyes. "Ally."

"What? I can't say hi to an old friend?"

A slightly irritated sigh escapes me as I stare at her, setting down my fork. "I'm at work, Alexandra. You know I've told you I don't want to be bothered when I'm at work. So why are you here?" I lower my voice as she eyes me, then rolls her eyes and sighs, leaning up against the table. "I've heard some rumors are starting to spread about you. Darkness crew knows you tried to save the kid. They aren't happy."

I stop dead still, staring at her. Her stiff body and direct eye-contact told me all I needed to know. She... sadly was being serious. A harsh sigh through my teeth escapes me and I go back to eating my food. I still had my skepticism.

"Ok. I can tell from that you don't believe me. I know. After last time it didn't happen, you are reasonably skeptical. But I'm trying to look out for your health so that you don't end up in one of these rooms yourself, Light." She rests her hand in front of my tray, prompting me to glance back up at her. A glare is all I give her, before I look back down.

They wouldn't dare to attack me at the hospital. Not if they were going to violate their own neutral ground. Yeah. I knew this place was supported by the darkness gang. But did I care? No. I was here to help others with any sort of illness or injury and help them back to better health. Regardless, I was safe here and no way was any of them going to stay up until  5 or 6 in the morning to get me.

"Light. I'm not lying. Watch your car tonight. They have plans to get you as you are walking to it. Let me drive you home tonight." I stop eating as the sensation from the thought hits my stomach. That... surely not-

... Dang it. Ally wasn't one to lie about danger. I knew that. She wasn't the best informant in town for nothing. With a harsh sigh I look up at her.

"... I get off at 3 am."

"I'll be out front by then. Don't be slow coming out."

"I won't."

With that, I watch as she stands up, gives me a nod, then taps the table with her hand and leaves. I wait until she's out of sight before I look back down at my tray. Great- Wait- I look over at the pale green piece of paper that was left behind and slowly grab it. Unfolding it, I read it.

"Tell Nightmare I say hi. Also I missed you.

Little Brother."
