Malcolm Varrish

Somi POV

3 months later

3 months, that's all it took. After training and studying, we started getting used to having the same routine everyday. Tina, Jake and Yunjin had the same training schedule before studying. And Taehyung and I took our trainings after study time. We all lived in the same house, except for Yunjin, whose always leaving on weekends once a month to go see the King from time to time. She told us, she was the daughter of a maid that seduced the King. Giving how the Queen has not been very forgiving to her. As for Mingyu, he's been doing his own training with Varrish, and it's very hard to get through to him, knowing who his father is.

Everyone only interacts when we are all on the dinner table, which I find quite suspicious. Not only the fact that we have to be in our rooms right after dinner, it made me question 'why is everyone avoiding each other?'. Sure, we came from the same world, but still, have they been brainwashed. As I close my eyes, looking out the window, allowing the moons light to shine on my face. I got up from my bed and quickly heard the door creak. As I reach out for my dagger, I jumped on the person who opened the door and pinned them on the bed.

"Somi" I heard a familiar voice. As I lift up the persons hoodie, I felt relieved. I thought I was going to get assinated. It was Taehyung. I quickly released him.

"You're pretty but you know I have a girlfriend, right?" Taehyung says, 

" What are you doing here? Dressed like that?" I asked.

"Why don't you", he said pointing at me "ask her?" he pointed behind me, towards the door. 

I looked behind and he was pointing at Tina. I saw the others behind her who were wearing the same hooded coat he was wearing. 

"Wear this" she threw the clothing at me. 

"Why?" I asked, lifting my eyebrows in confusion.

"Just wear it" she demanded. There was something different about her tone. It's like she was the little version of General Melgren. As I put on the hooded coat. I asked everyone what was going on, and they gave me a shrugging response by saying we don't know. As we made our way towards the front door. I couldn't help but question. Where are the guards? Normally, they'd be in the hall outside of our rooms. What's going on? As we made our way out of the door, we walked towards the gate. Arriving to the gate, we stopped and saw a familiar figure, outside of the gate.

"Long time no see guys" as the hood dropped to his shoulders. He greeted us with a smile. I was surprised. Looking left and right, I was surprised that they were surprised as well.

"Mingyu" Tina bowed her head to greet him. We were all speechless.

How did she get through to him?

Mingyu POV

"Mingyu" Tina bowed her head to me.

Looking behind her, I saw everyone were surprised to see me at the gate. Of course, they are. It wasn't that hard to get through to me. All she had to do was send a letter to me. It wasn't that hard. She didn't really leave me any details, all she wrote was 'meet us at the gate on Wednesday at midnight, everyone will be there' . And I did what she told me. As they climb the gate, Tina was the first to make it through, after was Yunjin and Somi. As time went by, Taehyung and Jake were the last to land on the ground. They glared at me and then gave me a playful smile and we hugged each other.
