Hello, Dragons! Yes, I'm back. It took me a long, long time to return, but I'm human, and I can be extremely procrastinator. It's annoying, but that's how it is. I write when I feel like it; actually, to be honest, I write when I want to. It's easier to say that. I get frustrated with myself for it, but I can't help it. When I look at the computer, either I turn it on just to play games, or I think, "I'll do it later." I know, it's frustrating, but that's just how I am. Anyway, enough about me. This story will have some changes. I'm not going to restart everything, or it will be stalled for a long time, so I'll have to deal with a big retcon. For those who don't know, retcon means altering what has already happened in the past of a story in a continuation. Please don't be mad at me; I'm already angry with myself, and the NSFW content will be more controlled from now on. Enjoy the chapter.

===================================

(Shindora POV)

I wake up with a heavy sigh in the tent where I'm staying. The journey has been stressful, especially after the attack by those purgas at the mission farm. We were paid with food and money, but it was still stressful. I ended up all bruised, but nothing I couldn't handle... who am I kidding? I almost died, especially after one of those purgas broke my horn. For a moment, I wasn't thinking clearly and attacked out of rage; I nearly died because of that. The twins, I don't know what to say. Cane are assassin, he doesn't trust me and just keeps watching me out of the corner of his eye, monitoring my every move, and Netty, he are scout and still has that fascination with dragons and keeps asking me everything about dragons, but I don't know much about my own species. I'm a dragon pup, isn't that clear enough? Just look at me, I'm all cute with this white fur and baby face, well, which pleases Lilia.

Lilia, a healing mage, I like her in a different way—(cough)—When we first met, she and her group were being attacked by wolves. I, being the tremendous idiot—(cough)—genius that I am, saved them, but got hit by a dagger right after. Nothing major... I HATE THAT STEVAN! She's always accompanied by her brother, Nilio. Well, I don't know much about him, just that he's an alchemist. When we started traveling together, Lilia made me her familiar using binding crystals. Of course, I modified them a bit to benefit both of us, hehehe.

Tired of rambling, I get up and stretch before leaving my tent to enjoy another day with this great... group... Cane was watching me all night? He's sleeping in front of my tent. I guess he didn't change shifts and couldn't stay awake. I let out a heavy sigh and approach him to wake him up. I really don't think it's pleasant for him to sleep on the hard ground, which I can tolerate with my scales, but that's beside the point.

{Wake up, sleepyhead, it's already daytime.} With telepathy, I speak by touching his face, but he doesn't wake up. This doesn't make sense, I'm speaking directly to his brain, so I squeeze his cheek. {Wake up!} I say louder, but there's no reaction. Did he die? No, of course not, the ground may be uncomfortable for humans, but it doesn't kill, right? I try to climb on him, struggling to find a decent support for my hind legs, but I manage.

(Lilia POV)

I'm carrying the things I gathered from my tent to continue our journey, but I stop when I see Shindora trying to climb onto Cane. It's so cute... a white ball of fur trying to clumsily climb onto something is so adorable...

I notice Nilio passing behind me and quickly grab him. He looks visibly surprised, and I quickly point to Shindora. "Nilio, look, isn't it cute?" I say with much pleasure, and he looks in the direction I'm pointing and tries to hold back a laugh. "Seriously, is Cane not noticing? I'm going to remember this forever." Nilio says with surprise and fascination. I'm glad he liked it, but it's a pity Netty isn't here to see this right now; however, patrolling the perimeter is important to avoid being attacked by bandits or monsters. Look, now he's jumping on Cane's belly, but the guy doesn't wake up, hehehe.
