Just a Game

"Seriously," Revali crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. "Is there nothing better we can do with our time?"

The group sat in a circle on the floor of Daruk's living room. His parents were away for the weekend and apparently he had thought it would be a good idea to get the whole gang together to hang out for a few hours. Which had been fine until Purah got this idiotic idea into her head that truth or dare would be fun.

And everyone went along with it.

Revali knew damn well he didn't have to go along with it. But the pleading look Mipha had shot him followed by Urbosa's accusation that he was just scared had caused him to join the circle.

So here he was.

"You didn't have to participate you know." Urbosa pointed out.

Revali shot her a hearty glare. "You knew damn well I did."

Urbosa chuckled and Purah waved a hand. "I can't select a victim with you two bickering! Shh!"

Revali rolled his eyes and huffed. A moment of silence and Purah pointed at Link. "Link. Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

The Sheikah grinned. "You gotta take a straight shot of Daruk's hottest hot sauce."

Eyebrows all shot up and Daruk chuckled. "This'll be interesting. Come on, little guy, lets get this set up."

A few minutes later, a very red-faced Link hovered by the wall, clutching a glass of water, trying not to cough. While everyone else was mostly concerned, Revali was busy trying not to laugh. "A little hot, Link?"

A glare. "Truth or--cough--dare, Revali?"

Revali lifted his chin. "Dare."

Link was silent for a long moment, evidently trying to think of something that would completely get under Revali's skin. And when the blue eyes lit, Revali knew he had made a mistake. "I dare you...to kiss the girl you think is prettiest on the lips."

Revali paled and Urbosa let out a low chuckle, crossing her arms. "Well, well."

Zelda shifted on her legs. "Link..."

"That's the risk you run playing this, Zel," Purah replied. "So...what's taking you so long, Revali?"

Link lifted an eyebrow. "Scared? Wouldn't think this would bother you so much."

Bull. Green eyes glared so harshly at the blond that Daruk shifted uncomfortably despite not being the one Revali was angry with.

With a sigh, Revali turned his attention to the group, his eyes immediately falling on Mipha. Many people he knew would say Zelda was the best looking girl in school and sure, Zelda was pretty. But Mipha...

Mipha was gorgeous.

Her golden eyes and long magenta hair. The way her lips curved into a smile and the way her hips moved when she walked...how her eyes lit up over her passions and the way she gave her full attention to you. To Revali, she was beautiful inside and out.

He had apparently hesitated too long, because Urbosa announced, "We don't have all night, Revali."

"Its just a game." Robbie added.

Revali shot them both a hearty glare before getting up and crossing the circle where the girl in question sat, completely unsuspecting. Her eyes went wide as he crouched down in front of her, taking a deep breath. "Revali?"

"I'm sorry he involved you in this." Was Revali's reply before cupping her chin and kissing her quickly.

This was not how he wanted this to go, at all
