Chapter 10
Amy's P.O.V.
The whole carriage ride back to Blue Rose Kingdom was awkward...
Sonic was sulking im the corner, and the queen had somewhat of a pleased look in her face. Occasionally glaring at me.
Sam would glare at the queen to stop glaring at me....
and I would glare at him to stop.
This went on and on. None of spoke a word.
When we got to Blue Rose Kingdom, I thanked Sonic and Sam for taking me to the ball, Sam and the queen walked inside the castel and I was about to head home...
The Sonic grabbed my hand, pulling me back.
I giggled
"You... really need to stop doing thay" I turned around smiling "Its lile the 5th time this month, that you grabbed my hand to stop me-"
"Amy, im sorry." He had a sad look on his face
"Sonic I told you it's fine, you dont need to apologize"
There was awkward silence for a while
"Um... so I'll see you tomorrow, Ok?" I said trying to change the topic
He smiled and looked at me
"Right. Goodnight, Ames" and with that he just rushed into the castel.
...
"Ames...?" I giggled and walked home "Thats a nice nickname"
That reminda of the nickname Shadow calls me by...
"Well, gotta get to work. By the way Amy the rest of the guys are back too, see ya around!"
"That's right! I forgot to go visit Shadow amd Sliver... I'll see them tomorrow I guess"

Normal P.O.V.
Amy walked into the castel, and to the room where the maids get ready.
Cream had a big smile on her face
Amy smiled and guessed that Tails probably went to see her
"Rose?"
Amy turned around in surprise and Saw Shadow and Sliver
Tears formed in her eyes a little and she smiled
"Shadow...Silver!" She ran up to them and hugged them
They had been gone for more than half a year on their trip, Tails followed months after so he hadn't been gone for as long.
Shadow was a butler Blue Rose Castel, and Silver was one of the cooks.
She let go and looked at them.
Shadow looked down at her
"You haven't grown an inch Rose"
"Yeah she has!" Silver stand next to Amy "See she's up to my shoulder now"
Amy alughs and playfully punches him
"I have... but you two are just huge"
They all laugh
"You're working here now?"
"Yeah, as Prince Sonic and Sam's personal maid.And the gardener, my father passed away about a month ago..."
"Oh... Amy im really sorry."
"It's fine" She smiles
Ring Ring
A bell is heard from the kitchen
"I need to start serving breakfast"
"I'll help"
Amy and Shadow grabbed thw plates and left the room and headed tpwards thw dinning table, where the queen, Sonic, and Sam were sitting.
Amy served Sonic and Sam their food and Shadow served the queen.
Amy reached for the jar to serve them a drink but Shadow grabbed it first
"I got it."
"Thank you..."
They both smile at eachother
Sonic and Sam notice and stare at them.
"Amy want to eat with us?" Sonic says interrupting
"Uh... No thank you, im having breakfast with my friends"
After they finished serving them the bowed down
"Excuse us" they both said and with that they walked towards the back
Sonic and Sam stared at them walking back.
"Who is that guy?" Sam whispered to Sonic
"Dont know." He whispered back "Amy's friend, I suppose"
There was awkward silence at the table, exept Sonic and Sam whispering back and forth at eachother. Aurora sat quite far from them so she didn't notice
"It's really lonley without Amy" Sonic slowly ate his food
"You think she didn't want to sit with us because she's here?"
"Probably, though she said she was sitting with her friends"
"Aren't we her friends?"
"Sam, she has other friends too"
"Who are...?"
"Some of the maids, Tails, that reminds me, Tails is back from the trip he went to with some other guys. He mentioned some of them were her friends too"
"GUYS?!"
Aurora looked at them
"What now?"
"Nothing of your concern, mother."
Sam twitched his eyes and whispered to Sonic
"That annoys me... but there's nothing we can do about Amy having other guy friends..."
"...We'll just talk to her about it before lunch, and tell her that we dont wantbher hanging around guys-"
"Sonic that's not a good idea"
"That's a great idea"
"Knowing Amy, she's going to slap you."
"No she won't."
"There's no stopping you is there?"
"Nope."
