"W-What?"
"Nothing really." he smiles at her and thinks
"Yeah...I know I made the right choice"
Flashback
"I-Im sorry...P-please. Excuse m-me..."
"Princess-"
Sally pushed the chair and ran off.
Sonic stood up
"Sally!"
"I'll go after her" Amy ran behind Sally

Sonic wanted to go after them but was interupted
"Sonic...May I speak with you?"
Aurora stood up
He sighed in frustration
She made her way into one of the rooms and signaled him to follow her.
Once they were inside the slam the door shut and locked it.
She had an angry look on her face and she glared at Sonic
"You...You are going to propose to Princess Sally-"
"Excuse me? And just what right do you have to choose who I marry?"
"Your father ad I, both planned this years ago, now you must fulfill your father's wish-"
"I couldn't care less about whatever wishes he had... It's my life and I can marry whoever I want."
He gave his mother a stern look
But she only got angrier
Suddenly Aurora smirked
"If you don't marry Sally... I'll make sure that little maid of yours will suffer the rest of her pitiful life-"
"If you even touch a single hair on Amy I'll kick you out of this Kingdom and I'll make sure the rest of your life is hell..."
"Do whatever you please Sonic... just know that if you don't marry Sally, I will do everything in my power to make sure that pink rat has a miserable fate"
His eyes widden. She walks to him and gets his hand and places a ring on his palm
She smiles
"Your choice... Sonic." Aurora turns around unlocks the door and leaves.
Sonic squeezes the ring in his hands tightly
He sighs and remembers the promise he made
"I promise. From now on, I will make sure that noone will hurt you"
...
"And noone will hurt you Ames... I promise for as long as I am here, you won't suffer"
He comes out of the room and sees Sally and Amybhad come back
"Here goes nothing...."
End of Flashback
"I...I uh, have to go somewhere" Amy yurns around and starts walking. Sonic grabs her hand making her flinch and blush
"Uh..." Amys heart starts to speed up "W-Why do I feel so weird around him...could it be... what Rouge said- No! no no no-" her thoughts were interupted
"Hold on, where are you going"
"eh... my friends invited me to this festival thing thats going on in town..."
"Cool, let's go" Sam stands up
"Eh?! You two are royalty! Not that there's anything wrong with that but you'll draw so much attention-"
"So... We'll just dress normally and not so fancy"
"Are you sure, it is just a commoner festival. Not sure if it will be your style-"
"Sure it will... We'll come by your house later now go get ready." Both of them pushed Amy out of the room
"urgh...these two..."
Sally walks up to Amy
"Hey Amy" She smiles
"Hi..."
"Should I invite her to come? What if she doesn't like it... What if-"
her thoughts were soon interrupted
Soni and Sam open the door and stick thwir heads out
"Hey Amy, if you're not ready by the time we get there we're taking your friends and leaving you behind." They both said in unison and clised the door
Her eye twitches
"...Going somewhere?" Sally laughs
