Chapter 18
Amy stood infront of her house
All of her friends. Shadow, Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Tails, and Cream.
Amy looked around but found noone, yet.
She was wearing a black long sleeved top, a pink scarf, black gloves, black shorts ,pink head band, and pink boots
"Yo!" Sonic and Sam called
Sonic wore a blue shirt, black pants woth white lines on the sides, and red shoes with a white line going threw the middle
Sam wore a purple and white striped shirt, dark gray pants, and white shoes
"Tch... and you guys said I would be late"
"Not my fault Sam took way to long deciding what to wear."
"Did not!"
"Did too."
"Knock it off!"
Amy separated them and started looking again
"Shouldn't we get going now Rose?" Shadow asked
Sonic and Sam noticed Shadow and Silver
"Rose...?" They said in unison staring him down
"Yeah... just hold on im waiting for someone-"
"Amy!"
She turned around and saw Sally running towards them.
She was wearing a blue vest and a long sleeve white shirt under it, blue shorts, blue and white shoes, white headband, and white gloves
"Sally!" Amy's face lit up
"Sorry I took so long..."
"It's fine"
"Sally's comming?" Sonic asked nervously
Amy nodded
"I-I hope that won't be a problem...?"
"No no... it's fine" he scratched the back of his head
After that they walked to the festival
As they walked in everyone looked at the group whispering and gasping
They played games, won prizes, rode some of the rides, and watched magic shows. Sonic and Sam occasionally keeping an eye on Shadow and Sliver when they talked to Amy.
Amy walked around, licking the lollipop she just bought. She held a bag filled with sweets from the candy store and a small stuffed cat she won for herself, and in her other hand she was holding two prizes, A white fluffy bear that Sonic won for her and a light pink fluffy rabbit that Sam won for her.
She noticed a sign om the wall and read it
Her eyes lit up amd turned around facing everyone
"Look! The flyer says there's going to be a firework show by the bay later... Let's go see it!"
"Fireworks? I haven't seen any of those for a really ling time"
"It'll be fun... the flyer says it starts at 7:30 and roght now its 6:45. We should get going to find a good spot to see the show" Sally says
They all nod and walk over to thw bay where they stood and waited.
They talked about the festival. At the time noone was there but soon people started comming and crowded the place
"We never went to a festival before..." Sam points out
"R-Really?!" everyone asks
Sonic nods
"...I hope we can all do this again" Sally smiles
"Definitely honey!" Rouge claps her hands together and gets close to Sally "But next time it should be just us girls" she winks
"You're no fun Rouge..." Shadow looks at her
"Shhh! It's staring!" Amy points to the air, where a single firwork shoots up and soon explodes letting out beautiful colors.
Everybody looks up in awe
About a minute Sonic looks down at Amy
He noticed a sparkle in her eyes, as if this was the most wonderful thing she'd ever seen. She had a warm smile in her face
"...My mother and father would always take me to this festival as a child" she sighs "The fireworks were always my favorite part. At the time I was so little and couldn't really see so my father would carry me in his back..." Amy's eyes begin to tear up as memories flood back to her
He'd never seen her like this. With that sparkle shinning in her eyes, and the warmes smile. Sonic liked it and he didn't want to stop looking at her
Amy giggled ad looked at him
"You're gonna miss the whole show if you keep starjng at me like that you creep" She joked
"Right..." He laughed and looked up again
...
Thw show was finally over. Everybody clapped and began to leave.
People were pushing and shoving trying to get pass.
The group tried to stay together but were soon separated
Sonic and Amy who were standing right next to eachother began to be separated
Amy tried to walk to the exit and then the two people who separated her and Sonic moved leaving a conpletly empty space, Amy didn't notice and kepts walking. He tried to walk to Amy and someone who was desperate to leave the crowded area pushed Sonic out of the way making him crash into Amy
"A-Amy!"
"Eh-"she turned around her eyes widden. Suddenly
