My father went home first to do some "work" but he probably just didn't want to go shopping for clothes.
I felt the same but my mother led me into the store and I couldn't say no, could I?
"Here, let's go to that section," said my mother, pointing to racks of fancy dresses.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"You need fancier dresses, Evela! Simple tunics and leggings won't do." She shook her head.
I groaned but she dragged me towards the racks and instructed me to try on one fancy dress after another.
The first one looked okay, I guess, but I didn't really like it.
My mother shook her head and told me to try on another one.
Ugh, I looked like I was getting married! If it was grey I think I would've liked it but my mother made me buy it anyways.
