It's February and nothing has happened but everything has at the same time. I don't know if that really makes sense but I'm going to pretend it does.

The girls are playing amazing and I've never been more proud. They dropped two games but seeing as they've won so many more, it counts as something great in my books. Sab is coming in tonight for the game and then is staying with me for a few days.

I'm eternally grateful for her because man am I missing her.

It's hard being without your best friend. Especially one who is an insane superstar. She has her tour and everything, well not right now but you know what I mean.

The girls are warming up on the side and I check my watch for what has to be the tenth time in the past thirty seconds. What can I say? I'm just really excited to see my favorite short person. You know, the world needs to show their appreciation to elves more often than just during Christmas time. It isn't fair to them when we just love them during one season. At least that's what Sabrina hinted at when she said I don't talk to her enough.

I talk about her and that's all that matters. Just ask Kk. She'll tell you how much I miss Sabrina. And Jewell and Nika.

Time goes by and suddenly the girls are lining up on the court. We don't get jump ball and now I'm too absorbed in the game to look and see if Sabrina is coming in.

The game is a nail biter and even though and at half I'm thankful when we have a ten point lead. It was tough for us to pull ahead but it's still not much. We should just be happy that we have the momentum and energy when we come back.

Just as I'm about to head into the locker room, I hear my name being called from across the gym.

Geno points behind me and that's when I know it has to be something. "Go ahead and be with your friend. Somehow she got my number and was pleading with me to 'free you'."

I give him a side hug and literally half run over to Sabrina. A few of the girls look between the two of us confused but I ignore every single one of them.

My legs carry me to Sabrina and she literally jumps on me when we meet.

Like a genuine I'm carrying her situation.

"I've fucking missed you so fucking much, Sab." I just squeeze her hard and she tightens her hold on me as I do.

"Let's not wait this long to see each other again. I don't think I can do this again."

Me either to be honest. I set her on the ground and we laugh a little. A lot of people have their phones out recording us and I just roll my eyes at everyone.

I grab her hand and take her to one of the side rooms.

"Babe, you're going to have to give me a full recap tonight. Because I'm sending that I've missed a lot." She tells me.

She wiggles her eyebrows at me and I laugh at her.

I pull her into another hug and I'm so close to crying. If you've ever not seen your best friend in a while you get it.

"Oh don't worry. We will be gossiping all night. And probably tomorrow." We both laugh a little. It's like we're teenage girls again. "How'd you get Geno's number anyways?"
