Y/N was at a complete and utter loss.
She had double, triple and quadruple checked her glances to the weird woman's face but it was undeniably the same woman. It was literally Jennie.
She was not the only person confused though. Dahyun constantly made some distressed noises, looking between Minji and the captain as if waiting for an explanation.
Y/N did not know what was going on. She did not know why there was a perfect duplication of Jennie kneeling above her, hurting her and neither did she know how this was even possible.
Well, Jennie could have a twin she had not known about but did Jennie have a twin her crew had not known about?
One thing was for sure though. Their Jennie was slowly dying in the grasp of the other, and none of them was moving.
So Y/N acted foolishly, again.
Her hand was quick as it reached over to Minji's belt, getting one of her guns to point it at the unsettling woman above Jennie. Y/N ignored the tremor of her hands, cocking the weapon carefully.
"Get off her right this instant!" Y/N yelled nervously, gesturing with the heavy metal for the second Jennie to move.
That woman was still staring directly at Y/N, a smirk that was so much Jennie and at the same time indefinitely more sinister playing on her lips.
"Be careful who you shoot, Y/N. That might be the last thing your precious captain will ever see."
Y/N heard Jennie's voice too, and she was shivering all over, wanting to look away from those icy eyes. How was this possible? The only thing seperating them was their choice of fashion.
Minji pulled her other gun within a second, lifting it coolly and pointing it directly at this double's head. "Well, I'm happy to inform you then that I won't miss. Get the fuck off our captain." she growled darkly, her finger already pressing against the trigger before the strange attacker could move.
Y/N yelped when the shot was fired, banging against the wall right behind where the double's head had been until that moment. The stranger had rolled aside too quick for them to see, finally releasing Jennie. Their captain was coughing and gasping, her fingers weakly pulling on the metal studded whip that was slick with her blood.
Shakingly, Y/N still held the woman in black at gunpoint, nervously searching her leather and hat-clad figure for any other weapons than the black whip she had now lost.
Y/N found a sword too, a sword that was the same as Jennie's was.
"Who are you?" Y/N nervously whispered, seeing Minji help up their captain from the corner of her eyes.
The second Jennie grinned at her lazily, flicking some dust off her shoulder. "I'm Jennie. You could not have guessed?" she ran her fingers through her hair, grinning darkly and full of sharp teeth at Y/N.
Y/N felt as if eyed by a predator, felt as if she had just met Jennie all over again, but this one here was much more wayward, not held by any rules of honour.
"You are just as pretty as I imagined you to be. Guess we share our impeccable taste, huh?" This person grinned at Jennie darkly, making her eyes go wide again. The captain looked utterly at a loss too about what to do with a copy of herself.
Y/N was distracted long enough that she jolted when a gentle hand touched hers, leather gloves sliding up her arms and tracing shivers on them while the stranger pushed the weapon down.
