Aliah's * POV *
I get up and walk into Melina's bathroom. I get my toothbrush and face wash out of my bag. I brush my teeth first and then wash my face.
I dry my face off with a towel. Melina and Cameron share this bathroom. Cameron's stuff is in the left side and hers is on the right side of the counter. I take my hair out of a bun and brush it.
I look at myself in the mirror and go to walk out but Cameron walks in the bathroom. I turn around and look at him. He smiles at me and I smile back.
I walk out of the bathroom and Cameron grabs my hand. He pulls me towards him and kisses me. I kiss back but put my hand on his chest and push myself away.
" good morning " he said. I smile and walk back to Melina's room. " hey, so what do you want to do today " she said. I shrug.
She gets up and checks her phone. " I'm gonna go to Starbucks. do you want anything? " she says. I shake my head. I did want something but I don't want to make her get me anything. " ok. " she said.
" I'm gonna take a shower " she said. " ok. " I said. She grabs a towel and her outfit and goes in the bathroom. I get up and run to Cameron's room. I open the door and close it behind me.
" ok so- " I try to say but I stop when I see Cameron. He's in sweatpants with no shirt. I love the way guys look in sweat pants.
" uhh " I said. I don't even know what I was going to say. I start to stutter. He smiles. " you know what, I forgot what I was going to um, say so... " I said starting to leave.
He laughs as I walk away. I go back into Melina's room and sit on her bed. Cameron walks in and closes the door behind him. Just seeing him makes me feel butterflies. " hey. Sammy and I are going to the movies. Do you want to go? " he says.
" can Melina go? " I said. He nods. " ya, I'll go " I said. He nods again and leaves. I lay down and take a deep breath.
Melina's * POV *
I walk into Starbucks and go to the counter. The guy working looks attractive from the back. I fix my hair. He turns around but it's just Sammy. I sigh. " hi what would you like tod- " he stops talking when he sees me.
" you know, it's ok. I'll go somewhere else. " I say starting to walk away. " Melina " he says walking after me. I just keep going I reach for the door to walk out but he grabs my hand.
" what do you want Sammy " I said. " come on don't be mad at me. I'm sorry ok. " he says. I try to walk away again but he had a strong grip on my hand. " please. At least let me get you a drink. On me " he says.
Well I'm not saying no to a free Starbucks drink. " fine " I said. He walks back over to the counter and I go with him. " what do you want. " he says. " a frozen raspberry lemonade . " I said. He makes the drink and gives it to me.
I thank him and sit down at one of the tables. He sits with me. " Don't you have to work? " I say. " ya. But oh well. " he said. I held back a smile.
Sammy's * POV *
I could tell she was trying to hold back a smile. " look I'm sorry about the party. I didn't mean to use you like that " I said admiring her features. She's looking down playing with her bracelet. " it's ok. " she said.
I smile. She looks at me and smiles back. " so can I take you out some time? " I say. " sure. As friends " she says. " oh come on. " I say. " what? You think because you apologized I'll be all over you. I accept your apology but, were starting as friends. " she says standing up and walking to the door.
" thanks for the free drink ! " she yells and walks out the door. I laugh and shake my head. I get up and go back to work.
At the movies
Cameron's * POV *
We walk in to the movie theaters and get our tickets for the gallows. We walk into the room and sat in our seats. Sammy sat next to Melina and I sat next to Aliah. We were in the recliner seats that were connected.
The movie started and Aliah brought her knees to her chest. I smiled. She's so cute. Later into the movie It got really silent. That's how you knew a scary part was about to come up.
Even when we were little she was always afraid of those parts.
Aliah buries her head into my neck and peaks out. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her close. Someone screams in the movie and everyone jumps. Aliah is squeezing me so tight I almost can breathe.
I hold her hand and she relaxes. She looks up at me and then my lips. She kisses me and I automatically kiss back. She pulls away and smiles. We cuddle for the rest of the movie.
Aliah's * POV *
As soon as the movie is over Cameron and I scoot away from each other. " alright let's go. " Melina says. We get up and walk out of the theater.
" so what do you guys want to do now? " Sammy said.
"Let's go get some ice cream!!!" Melina said really hyper.
"Alright let's go get ice cream!" I said laughing. We all piled into Cameron's car and went to the nearest ice cream place. We got out of the car and walked in. I felt Cameron and my hand brush against mine.
"Hi what can I get for you guys?" The man said at the front counter.
"Can I have two scoops of birthday cake please in a waffle cone." Melina said.
"I'll have the same just with chocolate." Cameron said.
"I'll have the same with rocky road." Sam said.
"I'll have the same with strawberry." I said.
"I'm paying by the way." Melina said looking at us.
"Oh no you're not!!" Sam said taking Melina's wallet and putting it above his head. Melina looked up at him since she's so short. He smiled and winked and handed the cashier a 20.
"Thanks sam!" Cameron and I said at the some time.
"Thanks Sammy. But can I have my wallet back?" Melina said with pleading eyes.
"Yeah here you go cutie!" Sammy said handing it to her.
"Hey watch it with the flirting Samuel!" Cameron said sternly.
"Shut up Cameron!" Melina said glaring at him. And eating her ice cream. "I'm eating outside." She said walking out. Sam grabbed his ice cream and we followed Melina.
We sat out there for a while just talking about random stuff. "Wanna go back to my house and watch movies?" Cameron asked all of us. We all agreed picked up our trash and walked to cams car.
*Melinas POV*
We finally got to my house we all got out of the car and went inside. "Sam and I will get snacks and the movies ready. You guys and can go change into something comfortable." Cameron said.
