Thanatos's P.O.V

I won't let you leave me ... Maybe this is what humans call a dream, this sensation.
This nightmare.
I feel as if everything I'm watching is an out of body experience. I watch as I desperately and angrily run towards my sister...
My Queen.
I see her in front of the portal to the human world, with a warrior nymph standing by her side. Her beautiful dark brown hair whips her face as she looks at me with wide green eyes. Then determination settles in her eyes making my steps falter, but I recover and continue to charge forward with my deadly blade in front of me. She stands in the middle with the bowl of water I remember giving to her as a part of her request. Doing the strangest thing I could ever imagine she throws the glass bowl to the floor letting all the water and glass splatter around the air. And with amazement I watch as those very pieces become something much more. A warrior ready to meet my blow... a nuisance that was in my way of getting to her.

The moment our blades touch a loud thud vibrates around the castle signaling her escape. Dread fills me at failing to get her before she could leave. But the creation in front of me fills me with anger for having stopped me even for a moment to get my sister. Trying to end things quickly I aim for the head but it dodges my blow and returns with its own blow faster than I expected. I move aside barley missing the glass tip of the blade. Without missing a beat I turn around faster than any supernatural eye can see and slice it straight through its torso, but once again it seems unaffected by my attacks.

Raising its blade to strikes down, it suddenly stops in mid air and dissolves into what it once was; water and glass. Staring at the fragments of the creation I hear steady footsteps echo throughout the halls approaching me at a lazy pace. Not thinking twice I turn to the direction of the footsteps and kneel on one knee while casting my eyes to the ground.

"She's stronger than I anticipated" he says with a smirk to no one in particular.

Then casting his eyes down towards me, his expression darkens.
"You fool, how could you let her escape and let such a simple party trick stop you"

"I'm sorry Father, I was surprised by the fact that she could do that" my monotone voice replies

"I trained you better than that. If you don't get her back soon then you'll never have her again. You know your mother will separate you two to where you can never see her again" he says and my fist clenched around the hilt of my sword along with my jaw.

"I won't let that happen. I'll retrieve her" lifting my head I look into his soulless black eyes "I swear by my own soul"

"Then you better keep that promise for you know the consequences if you don't" he says back to me briefly then he turns around to return back into the heart of the dead castle.

Looking back at the mocking door I clench my fists and head off in a different direction. My determination and anger fueling me, for I know the one person who caused this madness in the first place. And if she doesn't help me, then I'll just have to "persuade" her to.
