Gabriel's P.O.V
Ever since I left my mate with Eric,the pack doctor, I've been pacing the floor in front of her bed waiting for her to wake up.
"Knock, knock, hey alpha can I come in?" Says Eric
"Oh hey, yeah come in" I say not looking at him.
"She'll be fine, she just needs to rest since it seems she didn't these last few days" Eric says trying to reassure me.
"Yeah ok" I answer,
"Alpha I think you should go rest for a while, I know your worried but she'll be fine" he says again
"Go take a shower do some pack work, but don't worry she's not going any where".
"Yeah ok I'll just leave for a while and then I'll come back, but call me once she wakes up" I warn,
"Yes Alpha" bowing his head he opens the door and I head out with a faint click behind me. Once I get to my office I barry myself in pack work and accidentally fall asleep.
I wake up later only to find that it's already sundown. Brushing off my stray hairs I get up from my chair and stretch. When my phone rings, I immediately grab it and answer
"Hello?"
"Umm.. Alpha I have important news to tell you" says a pack member,
"Ok what is it?" I demand.
"Umm... You see the umm... The Luna is gone" he rushes out.
"WHAT?!" I yell while slamming my fist against the wooden desk
"Yeah, she's gone, when the pack doctor, Eric, checked on her just a few minutes ago she wasn't there" he explains
"What do you mean she's not there, how could this have happened?!" I yell again, feeling my wolf come to the surface and command to the wolf on the other line "you will find her! Get every wolf searching for her NOW!".
The wolf whimpers and answers "yes Alpha" before hanging up.
How could this have happened? She's hurt and no one knows where she is. Oh man what if something happens to her or she's in the forest and she gets lost?!
' well then we have to find her fast!' Yells Kane.
None of this should have happened, because Damien and Hunter were suppose to be watching my mate! I trusted them!
'Damien, Hunter! We're are you?!' I raged through the pack link
'ugh what is it Alpha?' Responds a sleepy Hunter
'Why aren't you looking for my mate' yelling I growl and then I hear Damien intercept saying with the same sleepy voice
'what are you talking about Gabriel? Your mate's upstairs' he states, and just for a moment I'm hopeful that this was all a misunderstanding
'that's not what I heard, one of the pack members just told me a while ago that my mate is missing'
'what?! That can't be true, just wait a moment Gabriel let me go check ok, so calm down' Damien says with a reassuring voice.
As I wait for Damien or Hunter to answer I get out of my office and run outside to change into my wolf. The moment I change I start speeding to the clinic house.
'Umm... Yeah Gabe, uhh yeah I'm wrong, she's gone' he laughs nervously at the end
'how can you be laughing when your Luna is out there injured!' I yell and start running faster
