In the Kim household one morning, Jin and Hoseok were busy cooking in the kitchen while Namjoon scrolled through his phone at the dining table, with Yoongi sitting half-asleep, his head resting on his folded arms, fighting off the sleep.
Suddenly, a loud thump echoed through the house, followed by the sound of hurried footsteps. Jungkook came running into the dining room closely followed by Taehyung and Jimin.
Jungkook quickly hid behind Hoseok. "What happened?" Hoseok asked, turning to Jungkook, who peeked out from behind him with a sheepish grin.
Just then, Jin walked in, wiping his hands on a towel. His eyes widened in surprise. "What happened to your hair, Jimin?" He asked as Jimin's hair was a shocking shade of pink.
"It’s all because of your favorite bunny!" Jimin exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at Jungkook. "He put a hair colour in my shampoo bottle and vinegar in our mouth freshener, not to mention minty paste in our toothpaste!"
Taehyung added, “And to top it all off, he threw water on us while we were sleeping!”
Everyone turned to Jungkook, their expressions a mix of disbelief and amusement. "What's this, Jungkook?" Yoongi asked sternly, sitting up straight.
Jungkook blinked innocently, his big eyes shining "I was just pranking them, Hyungie!" he replied in the most adorable way, flashing a cheeky smile that made it hard to stay mad at him.
Taehyung crossed his arms angrily, while Jimin ran a hand through his pink hair. “You’ve gone too far this time, Jungkook.”
Jin sighed, glancing at his younger brothers. “You two shouldn’t take him seriously. He’s just a kid.” He said, trying to mediate.
“But he really needs to learn!” Taehyung protested, though there was a hint of laughter in his voice. “He didn’t mean to hurt you, and he promised he wouldn’t do it again,” Hoseok said, looking at Jungkook. “Right, Kookie?”
“Yes! I promise I’ll be good!” Jungkook said sincerely." I am sorry hyungie."
Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other, with a sigh as, it was impossible to stay mad at Jungkook for long—his cuteness was a powerful weapon.
“Fine,” Jimin said as he ruffled Jungkook’s hair. “But no more pranks like this!”
“Yeah, or else!” Taehyung added.
" No more I promise." Jungkook said grinning.
"Okay, Jimin, it’s time to wash your hair. That pink won't fade if you leave it like that."Namjoon said, glancing at Jimin with a teasing grin.
“Ugh, fine!” Jimin replied dramatically, rolling his eyes as he ruffled his pink hair. “I’ll wash it before I go to college. I just hope it comes out easily!”
“Don’t worry, we have a ton of shampoo,” Yoongi said. “And Taehyung, don’t forget to help him. He’ll need it.”
“Of course!” Taehyung replied as he followed Jimin to his room.
“And while you’re at it, you two better hurry up because I need to drop you guys at college soon." Namjoon said as he got a yes from the twins who ran to their room. Then he looks at Jungkook, " And you make sure you eat something so Jin hyung can take you to school.”
“Got it!” Jungkook said with a smile as he rushed into the kitchen and grabbed a plate of pancakes from the counter. “Thanks, Jin hyung!” He said as he ate a piece, syrup dripped down his chin.
“Hey! Be careful!” Jin scolded, laughing as he handed Jungkook a napkin. “You’re making a mess, and we don’t have time for that. Just concentrate on eating!”
