Hearing Taehyung, Jimin's eyes widened and he opened his mouth to respond, “Taehyung, wh—”

But Taehyung quickly motioned with his eyes towards the slightly cracked door. Jimin looked into the mirror in front of him and realized that Jungkook was outside the room, eavesdropping. He understood that Taehyung was playing a prank on Jungkook, saying he was adopted, even though he was their biological brother.

Jimin decided to play along. “You’re right, Tae. I don’t understand how some people can be so ungrateful. Our parents adopted him, and our hyung gives him all the love, yet he treats us like this!”Taehyung nodded, trying to suppress a grin. “Exactly! No one ever told him he didn’t belong with us. If he asks, I’m not going to tell him the truth either. Let him live in his delusional world.”

Jimin crossed his arms,  “Yeah, the truth always hurts. But maybe it’s better if we let him live in this lie. It’s less painful for him. I mean, we can't do anything about it as long as our hyungs love him."

Just then, they saw Jungkook shifting uncomfortably and starting to walk away from the door. Taehyung smiled and said, “Look, there he goes!”

Jimin sat near Taehyung, he asked, “Will our prank really work? He’s 16, and he won't just believe he’s adopted like that.”

Taehyung replied, “He won’t believe us if we tell him directly, but this way, he might. And he deserves to pay for what he did to us.”

“But Tae, don’t you think this is a bit too much? He’s sensitive when it comes to family stuff. What if he really starts to believe it? We might hurt him more than we think.”Jimin sighed.

“I get what you’re saying, Jimin. But he needs to understand that his actions have consequences. We can’t just let him walk all over us." Taehyung said.
Jimin nodded slowly, still feeling uneasy, but thought of doing the prank.

Meanwhile, Jungkook backed away from Jimin's room and started to run down the hallway, but in panic, he collided with Jin, who was carrying a stack of papers scattered across the floor.

“Oh my God, Jungkook! How many times have I told you not to run?” Jin exclaimed, dropping to his knees to gather the papers. “Are you alright?”
“I’m sorry, Hyung!” Jungkook said, quickly helping pick up the papers. “I didn’t see you there.I.. I’m fine!” He handed a few papers back to Jin, and he ran away from there.

“Jungkook!” Jin called. “I just told you not to run!” But Jungkook had already run away to his room. Jin stood up, shaking his head. “This boy…” He muttered. “What am I going to do with you?”

Jungkook entered his room and shut the door behind him. He leaned against it, breathing heavily as he thought about the conversation he had overheard. The words “adopted” and “doesn’t belong” kept repeating in his mind, making him feel hurt. He sat on the edge of his bed and put his head on his hands.

"It can't be true," He whispered to himself. "I can't be adopted." But no matter how much he tried to convince himself, doubt kept coming back. What if Taehyung and Jimin were serious? What if everything he thought he knew was a lie?

He couldn’t hold back his emotions, and soon tears started falling and he cried. Just then, the door opened, and Jin walked in and said “I figured it out—you framed Jimin and Taehyung and enjoyed watching them get punished. Even if you’re not our brother, you think you have the right to hurt them?”

Jungkook froze and looked at Jin with wide eyes.

Before he could respond, Namjoon and Hoseok rushed into the room. "Hyung’s right," Hoseok said, "You’ve been causing trouble for us all this time. Always disturbing us, messing around! "
