The next day, Jin woke up in the morning and he walked to the bathroom. He looked for his toothbrush, still half-asleep and mumbling to himself. " Where is my thoot brush ??"
He pated the counter in search of his toothbrush and in that time he heard a knock on his room door.
"Hyung?" Namjoon's voice called from the hallway.
Jin sighed and stepped out of the bathroom, finding Namjoon standing there, looking nervous and confused.
"Hyung, have you seen my office ID? I can't find it anywhere,"
Jin raised an eyebrow, thinking for a moment. "You probably left it on the living room couch." He replied, remembering how Namjoon had crashed there after coming home late from work the night before.
"Oh yeah, you're right. I must have forgotten," Namjoon said as he realised. "Thanks, hyung."
Jin smiled and nodded before went back to the bathroom and resumed his search for his toothbrush. He patted the counter again, mumbling to himself, "Where is it? I could've sworn I left it right here..."
After a few more seconds of futile searching, Jin finally gave up. "Ah, forget it. It's gone."
With a sigh, he opened the drawer beneath the sink and pulled out a brand new toothbrush, still in its packaging. He stared at it for a moment before ripping the packaging open. "I don't know why I even bother buying these in bulk," he muttered to himself, shaking his head as he ran the brush under the water. "At least now I have a backup."
After Jin finished brushing his teeth, he rinsed his mouth and placed the new toothbrush back into the holder. He splashed some water on his face, then grabbed a towel and dried off. "Time to get the day started," He muttered.
He made his way downstairs and headed for the kitchen. As he passed through the living room, he noticed Namjoon sitting on the couch, working on his laptop.
"Did you find your ID?" He asked.
Namjoon looked up, smiling sheepishly. "Yeah, it was exactly where you said it would be, on the couch. Thanks again, hyung."
Jin chuckled. "You really need to stop using the living room as your office, Joon. One day, you're going to lose something important for real."
" I will take care of it from next time hyung."
Jin sighed"Yah yah ofcourse."He teased, walking into the kitchen.
Namjoon smiled and went back to his work while Jin started getting ingredients ready for breakfast.
As Namjoon continued working, he barely noticed the surrounding and suddenly, a glass appeared in front of his screen, blocking his view.
Startled, Namjoon looked up, meeting Jin's eyes.
"Hyung?" Namjoon asked, confused.
"Just drink it," Jin said, pushing the glass of apple juice closer. "I know you too well. When I call for breakfast, you'll say something like 'I'll eat in the canteen,' or 'I'll grab something healthy later,' but we both know you never do. You'll skip the meal and go the entire day on an empty stomach."
