Near the pool -3-

Well this is an other chapter I hope you like it^^

A! Finally The swimming pool! At least I could find it without getting lost completely. It's so beautiful... I can't believe in my eyes, the guys told me that they cleaned it and make it work properly from the beginning. Sure they are amazing. I bet Haru worked really hard for something like that. I still have time till the last period come to an end so... 

 Feet in the water!

The water was cool and so clean. I just love that sense, I haven't used a pool in a while... When I left for Akita I didn't join the swim club, I didn't have any specific reason, I just didn't feel like it. So I joined the rowing club instead... It was fun...but nothing more.
I heard noise made by people... I guess the last period ended. That means that they will be here in any minute.

Fifteen minutes have pasted but no one is here. Probably something important happened, they can't possibly forget me right? Right? I'm not even sure how I came here... So how I'm I suppose to leave? Oh God just help me! Where are they?

"(Name)-Chan! Gomen! Did you wait too much?" Nagisa had a worried face on him... I must look really angry...
"No no Nagisa! I'm here the last thirty minutes, coz I couldn't go somewhere else."
I said with my feet still in the water. I can now see the boys and a girl with them. She must be in the same year with Nagisa coz she wears red ribbon in her collar like Nagisa's tie.

"That means that you waited here for us all alone at least twenty minutes, (Name)-Chan..." I could hear the depression in Nagisa's voice I didn't want them to worry for me, sure it's nice feeling to have someone to worry about you but.... It's my job is  to worry for them not the other way. I just smiled, it was maybe a fake smile but I didn't care.
"Ne... (Name)-Chan, This is Gou-Chan. She is the club manager" The burgundy hair girl is coming in my direction. Having my eyes on her I hear her voice.
"It's Kou... Nice to meet you (Name)-san, I have heard a lot about you" Says Kou (?) with a smile. 

"And Nagisa! I have told you a thousand times I-am-Kou!"

"Nice to meet you..." Makoto, Nagisa and Kou are looking me in the eyes like they wait to hear something special... "...Kou..." I finished my sentence.
"I knew that she would call you Kou" Says Makoto with a light smile... And I smile nervously while I got up standing on my feet in front of them.
"(Name)-san I'm really happy having you around helping us, Not that there will be a lot of things you can do here"
Ok now I get it, that Kou girl doesn't really want me here right? I sit again by the pool, but this time I had the water behind me.
"So where is Amakata-san? The director told that she will b-"I couldn't finish what I wanted to say, And I hear a splash next to me in the pool. Of course it was Haru, who else could it be? I turned my face to see him. Nothing had change on him, well he just got taller. A smile placed on my face without even thinking. I felt so warm inside my heart, now I know that I am home.
"He is wonderful in the water like always right?" Only Makoto understood what I felt. No wander, we feel the same thing when we see him swimming.
"Yeah..." I said. With my mouth half open. I think I saw Haru smirk, but is could be my imagination. I turned back to face the others again, who they have sat around me. It felt little awkward but there was nothing for me to do.
"Haru-Chan please, don't stay for too long it the water it's still April, you will catch a real cold this time" Makoto is still acting like Haru's mum. Lightly I and Nagisa started laughing so Haru won't hear us. But I think he did anyway.
"Shut up, and cut off the –Chan" Surely he didn't change at all.
"Ne (Name)-Chan you promised that you will answer all of our questions right?"
"Nagisa don't be rude, she maybe doesn't feel comfortable here, and why don't we go to my place? You, Haru and Nagisa? Just like old times... I called my mum and she said its ok you can stay for diner as well, what do you think?" I really wanted to go but... It was true that I didn't feel ok here, Makoto's house was nice and calm I wanted to see his parents too... Ah! And the kids... there were so cute^^ Now there must be at least eight. Somehow I feel a little old.
I nodded "That would be nice, I have long time to see your family, but I have to tell my Oba-Chan first"
"Ah? Hiroko Oba-san? You are living with her now? You don't live in your old house anymore?" I knew that I have to answer on that some time soon. But Makoto was asking, I have to give an answer.
"Well... the old house is almost abandoned and it would be a lot trouble to clean it and fix it properly plus it's not pleasant for me the idea of living alone yet, I missed my Oba-Chan anyway, so I will live with her for now."
"Hiroko Oba-san talks for you all the time when me and Haru meet her , she says that all the time how awesome you are and that she misses you so much" Makoto said with low voice looking at the ground in front of him.
"You know I just sent letters with my Oba-Chan, we never used our phones when I was in Akita, coz that would make my parents angry. They didn't want me see her anymore. I don't know why yet, that's one of the reasons why I came back here" I confessed with a sad smile. I may have said too much but all I said was true.
"So (Name)-Chan came here for several reasons huh?" Nagisa thought out loud.
I feel something wet around my waist. Before I could understand what's going on... I felt Haru dragging me deep in the pool with him. Wait what? Why he would do that... I want see him paying for that. I heard a scream, probably from Kou. Now I could hear Nagisa laughing. Haru drag me up just the time I needed air still holding me by my waist. I breathed heavily while I stand on my feet. I turned to face him and now he took his hands off me. Looking at me with an empty expression. I saw with the corner of my eye, all of them were looking at as, Makoto with a light smile on his face, same as Nagisa, and Kou looked like she was worried about something...
"What was that? I'm not a doll or something to grab me and put me where you want Haru! You scared me! And now all my clothes are wet how am I suppose to go with you and the others to Makoto's house now?" I yelled on his face, I felt a little embarrassed with my wet clothes hopefully my body was not visible coz my clothes are dark but... the shape of my body could be seen clearly. I turned to go out of the pool but Haru holds my arm.
"I promised Makoto that this is the last time to use an outside pool till summer, you have really long time to be in a pool as well..." Haru's voice... so soft to my ears, how did he knew?Also this was the longest sentence he told me after I met him again.
"I have to use a pool for quite some time......but that doesn't give you the right to force me inside anyway" I was not a pool fanatic, when I was a little I was afraid of them but with Haru's help everything was ok. Why would I remember something like that now? I felt my face turned red from the embarrassment. When I got out of the pool I turned to face Makoto trying to think how would I say that because of my wet outfit I couldn't come to his house even if I wanted to.
"Ne (Name)-Chan we can pass by your Oba-Chan's house for you to change It's not that far, ok?" Makoto... right... a solution to every problem you possibly have...
"Sure..." I nodded. I felt someone tap my solder, it was Haru, but he didn't faced me, with his left hand to my direction, he was holding a large towel. I took it and with a small smile I thanked him.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you angry or scare you." With his eyes never meet mine, he turned away and left to take a shower and get dressed.
I tried to dry my hair as much as possible. I felt the light air on me like I was covered in ice, I didn't like warm weather but that feeling was out of the question. So I cover my shelf with the huge towel that Haru gave me. I have to admit that this way was far better. As I enjoyed the warm dark blue towel around me, I heart Kou;
"Ama-Chan sensei probably won't come, we wait for her for quite long but she is not coming. I'll go check if her car is still here, If not we can leave. (Name)-Chan don't worry about your wet clothes you even look amazing like that." And before I could say a word she left. Yeah great! What was that? I thought she didn't like me, Why she would she say something nice to me? I have to make a conversation with her one day. But with those words she said my face became a light red again, and I saw Makoto's ears getting red as well. I didn't say a word, I didn't want this topic to go further. So I went to take a look around the pool till Kou came back.
"She must not be here, we can leave I guess, See you tomorrow guys, (Name)-Chan!" She said while she waved at as, and we waved at her back. I saw Haru was done with his shower and went to change.
"Makoto... Can I lend the towel and gave it back tomorrow? I'm freezing..."
"We don't have a lot of them (Name) but you can keep it, take it as an apology" Makoto said with a warm smile.
"Thank you, and really is not a big deal, I may looked angry before but I'm fine. Also I wouldn't keep something like that from the club even if you had a hundred of them."
"That sounds like you, (Name)-Chan" As he finished talking...I feel that something is wrong. Nagisa is really silent all this time.
"Are you ok? Nagisa?" He was standing next to the pool staring the water and he turned to face me with a strange look on his eyes.
"Ah! The practice of track club will end soon, I have to hurry!"
"Eh?" I and Makoto said loudly.
"Track club?" What does he want with the track club anyway?
"We are searching a new club member to enter the summer tournament and I found the perfect one. Sorry but I have to harry coz he is going to leave"
"Well good luck with that Nagisa" I'm not really sure what he wants to do but I wished him good luck as well.
"We are ready to leave now"
"Haru! Nagisa and Kou left we are just us, we have to go first to Hiroko Oba-Chan's house for (Name) to change clothes. After that we are going to my place"
"I know that, let's go"
And with all of these, we left the school, it is April so the day is getting bigger day by day so the sun started to do down lightly giving us an orange light all over the place.
They didn't speak at all, It was something common for Haru but Makoto too? That was strange... So I decided to make the first move.
"I really missed this place... I wish I have never left..." My tone was kind of sad even though I didn't want to. Now we walked near the beach, my feet stopped on their own, I was staring the ocean...I couldn't help it. I had ton memories there, good ones... I felt my eyes water a bit but I hold back my tears. After I left, I became really sensitive in crying but I couldn't let anybody see that side of mine... not now...
"(Name), welcome back." Makoto told me, I faced him first and then Haru, he had a light smile on his lips. I couldn't resist, I smiled back.
"Let's go, I think I'm getting cold" I still had the blue towel around me. Not long after we were outside my Oba-Chan's house. Well my house for now on...
"We can wait here" Haru said, it surprised me. Why I would left them outside.
"No way! You two are coming inside with me!" I said while I had the key in lock. I graphed them both from their hands and I lead them inside.
"I'm home, Oba-Chan. There is Makoto and Haru with me!" I left my shoes near the door, and I saw that the others did the same.
I moved inside and I heard my Oba-Chan."Welcome home my love, Makoto, Haru what a nice surprise, How are you today?" when they finished with the greetings she looked at me with her mouth open. "What happened to you young lady? Why your clothes and hair are wet?"
"Ne... Oba-Chan... I fell into the pool... I picked the swim club...and you know... Well Makoto invited me to his house for dinner, Haru would be there too, so I came to change, you don't have a problem with that..right? Ah! Sorry for not having a dinner with you today, I promise we are going to have one tomorrow ne?" I told all of these when I walked to my room.
"Take your time child, you are old enough to do what you want" I heard her solid voice, and I closed the door of my bedroom. I could hear them talking...even Haru talked. I know that my Oba-Chan liked Haru as a young man in general, not that she dislike Makoto, but after Haru's grandmother past away, she told me in her letters that they talked a lot more... and sometimes he and Makoto helped her with her garden when she was alone. I can understand that Makoto like helping others but Haru...why? He always said that he doesn't do things with much effort. I don't know...
What should I wear? I don't want something fancy...so... I got the red plaid shirt of mine with white shorts just on my knees. And my dark red flat shoes which was near the door. My Hair was all most dry and was kind of wavy and with a last look in the mirror I got out to and got my bag.

"I'm ready to go."

They both turned to face me, and I think that Haru had blushed a little but he quickly looked away. My Oba-Chan smile to us and told as to have a good time and so we left my house.
