I'm not that satisfied with my work, I had a lot on my mind lately

 Yesterday Rei-kun claimed that the reason he can't swim is his Speedo, so all we had to do is to help him buy a new one... I thought it would be nice wear something lighter coz the weather was quite warm. We didn't have practice today because it's Sunday and we were going to go to the "Zero-sports" with everyone, so I got ready quickly and went to meet them in the train station. There were all of them there. I greeted them all and stand next to Haru. Soon enough our train arrive and we all take our seats; some of us were on their feet, while I was between Kou and Haru. Makoto started;
"So why didn't Ama-chan Sensei come with us to buy his swimsuits?" Makoto asked.
"She worked for a swimsuit maker in Tokyo, right?"asked Kou.
"Well, I did ask her, but...she first told that she has something else to do on Sunday. After she said that there are other brands... and she has her reasons...also she said that she won't be able to provide an objective perspective...." Nagisa explained.
Honestly I think my head hurts...
"What's with the flurry of random excuses...? At least we have an almost adult here who can help us" Rei said and looked at me...
"You can all of you count on me!" I said with a smile while nod.
We were there and Kou and I didn't let even a minute go to waste, we start immediately to look at male swimwear...
"There are a lot to choose from." Kou said to herself looking around. We were with Makoto and Haru staring some swimsuits... When suddenly Haru took two of them (Quite similar if I might add) and said;
"I'm going to try this on." He seemed to be really interested... I keep my eyes on him when he went to change and I heard Kou;
"Oh, Haruka-senpai is also looking to buy a swimsuit."
"Like that, he is going to grow even bigger his 'almost same' swimsuit collection of his."
"I heard that!" It didn't take me much time till I recognize that this was Haru's voice. Makoto and I giggled and went to wait for him outside of the changing room. Soon Rei went inside the next one and Nagisa waited with us outside.
Nagisa couldn't stand waiting any longer.
"Are you finished changing?"
"It's clear that this fits me much better than a Speedo." I head Rei's voice from inside, when suddenly the curtain is open and I see Rei wearing a swimsuit witch reminded me of a rainbow zebra. God...give me strength...
"Rainbow?" Nagisa and Makoto say in union... and I just hold my forehead with my left hand, hopeless...
"A rainbow for Rei?" I start freezing Nagisa... Makoto on the other hand has a blank expression, same as mine...
"I'm accounting for the fact that each color has a different psychological impact." Rei says with confidence...
"So you don't care about how it looks?" Finally Makoto said, he get me worred.
I was ready to say something sarcastic but I heard Haru's voice inside the changing room and the curtain is open again.
"I'm done changing... What do you think?" Well I can't see a huge deference but I have to admit, he looks amazing. –Blushing madly-
"Wow, I can't tell how it's different from his usual swimsuit."
"Isn't it the same?" Nagisa asked.
"No" Haru said with a light bow looking his swimsuit on himself... "I like the way this one fits better." Haru ends with a small smile and the other two just staring at him with empty eyes.
"It's hard to play the differences on your swimsuits Haru... but this really looks nice on you..." I didn't wait for him to answer and left to sit next to Kou. (Who is mentally fangirling again...Its easy to tell coz I do it too... :P) I heard from behind Nagisa asking;
"Mako-chan, let's try some on!"
"What? I have to join in?"
"Get moving!" said Nagisa and dragged him to find swimsuits...
Kou and I were enjoying the view of our wonderful boys changing in a lot of kind of swimwear, some were fanny...some were really colorful... Makoto also tried a one peace suit, with that body of his, he looked so cool... and some of them where almost the same stuff... (...a curtain someone...)
When Kou had enough of them she suggested to go buy something to drink together but I thought it would be nice to take a look again in female swimwear. It would be ok to buy a new pair of goggles...I wasn't far from Haru's changing room and every time he went out to see himself in the mirror I always take a look. But now he was out I saw someone familiar going out from the next room... It was Rin... I wanted to go and check them out but they soon put their clothes on and went outside... I joined the others and went to the fund to pay for our stuff... I got a pair of (Fav/color) goggles. We found Kou outside and then Haru came out of nowhere...
"Is everything ok?" I didn't want to say more, coz I didn't know if he wanted the others find out that he was with Rin... He nodded so we moved on...
Next day we had only two days left for Rei to learn how swim and we were all excited to see if he would make it... He toke his position ready to dive.
I was next to Makoto and had my swimsuit on and my new goggles around my neck with my legs inside the water... I was staring Rei full of curiosity, Haru was standing some feet behind me with a turquoise towel in his head. Now back to Rei.
"He looks like a world-class swimmer from here." Makoto commented.
"He really does..." I thought out loud.
"Maybe he'll actually manage to swim this time..." Nagisa joined us, and my theory that everything is mental will prove right...
"Yep! I think this might work!" Commented Kou...
Rei is going to dive... His angle is perfect...And he dives inside like a pro... But...the result doesn't change... he still remains under the water...
Suddenly I fell Haru passing next to me and swim his way to Rei...
"I'll teach you... You want to learn how to swim, right?"
"P-Please help me!" Rei does a full bow.
"However, I can only teach you free."
I can't believe he decided to do that...
"Haru's going to teach..."
"Someone how to swim...." I completed Makoto's sentence...
"Bringing in, the big guns!" Nagisa said. I hope everything is going to be alright... Rei was listening carefully every word from Haru; he helped him to take the right positions and all.
The only thing that we could do was just watching them from afar... After some time I heard Haru from the pool;
"That's everything I have to teach you. The rest is up to you. Believe in yourself." And when Rei was ready he position himself to swim. He took a deep breath and throw himself forward... We all at first that he did it... But...
"WHY!" Rei's scream filled our ears...
After I finished with my shower, I was drying my hair with a towel with Makoto and Nagisa. I saw Nagisa staring in the other corner of the pool saying;
"What are Haru-chan and Rei-chan doing?" I saw them too, that must be important...
I don't know the reason but I grab Nagisa's arm when he tried to go to their direction, I sent Makoto a warning glance. Hopefully he got it quickly
"Leave them alone for now. I have a feeling they have a lot in common." Nagisa smiled and I let go of his hand. I was staring at them sitting there next to each other, I couldn't help myself.
"You're right," He said.
Today was the last day we got that Rei had to learn how to swim. I got there and saw Nagisa and Makoto they have just finished with my stretching program, and make their way to the pool. Kou was also with them...
"Since it's come to this, let's have him use a kickboard in the tournament!" I heard Nagisa.
"Do the rules allow that?" Kou said.
"That's an option. I don't think the rules prohibit it." Makoto said lost in his thoughts...
"We'll have to look that up."
"Hello there!" I greeted them with a smile!
They also greeted me back all of them. "Where are the others?" We heard someone was swimming and we tuned our faces to the pool's direction. Someone was swimming butterfly...
"Somebody's swimming butterfly." Kou announced.
"Is it Haru-chan?" Nagisa asked...
"Haru doesn't swim butterfly..." I told loud enough for them to hear... Till I sensed someone was behind me...I hear a voice next to my ear "It's not me."
"Haru...? You almost gave me a heart attack..." we all turned to face him...and then it hit me... If He is here...and we are here too... that mean that the one he is swimming butterfly inside the pool is no one ells than... Rei-kun...
"Rei-chan?!" I heard Nagisa next to me. They all went to Rei. Except Haru and I.
"Were you just swimming butterfly?!" Nagisa asked.
"It was the only stroke I hadn't tried yet. Once I tried, I was able to swim." Rei gave his answer simply.
I saw Haru playing with a white butterfly, next to the pool. I was still wearing my normal clothes but that didn't stop me to hug him from behind; he turned his attention to me losing his cool a bit from my sudden actions...how cute... I whisper in his left ear;
"I don't know what did you said to him, but I'm glad that he can swim now. You are awesome, Haru-chan" I gave him a quick kiss on his left cheek, before someone notice.
I keep my eyes to Rei while he swam another lap... He seems to really enjoy it...

Next day at the practice when I arrived, I saw the boys have already started my stretching program and a light worming up out of the water, by the pool...
"Hi there...!" As a response they waved at me and I wave back entering in the club's room where I found Kou (wearing a hakama for some reason) trying to gather all her papers... I said a polite 'hello' and went to help her...when she found something... without a word she grabs my arm and drags me outside with the boys. Showing them some old, almost yellowish, papers...shouting;
"You won't believe this! I found something amazing!" I went to stand between Makoto and Haru.
Makoto read out loud; "Iwatobi High School Swim Club... Summer Training Camp from Hell on a Deserted Island..."
"Hell?" asked Rei... "Deserted island?" asked Haru with empty voice...
"Sounds Fun!" Loud as always Nagisa...
"This took place several decades ago, when Iwatobi still had a swim club!"
"So what's your point?" Rei asked.
"We should steal their training regimen and hold a summer training camp on a deserted island... To prepare for prefecturals!"
Haru sat by the pool with his hand inside... "It's too much effort"
"This is no time for complying! Look at the training regimen they used! "
She showed us a map. "They swam long distances in the ocean." Ocean?...that would be amazing for me...but... "From one deserted island to the next. Don't you think this training is perfect for building stamina?"
"The ocean..." I heard Makoto's whisper...
"Yeah... The ocean! We should participate in the same training regimen that our storied swim club used!"
"Our swim club was storied?" Nagisa asked.
"Yep...Look what I found!"
"Sixth place in the Iwatobi Junior Tournament... They are weak..." Rei told... but my mind was on Makoto...the ocean...
"Right now, the Iwatobi Swim Club needs stamina! And summer is the perfect time to hold a training camp! In the ocean! On deserted islands!"
"Wait, I don't see how deserted islands are relevant here." Rei said.
"But it's more exiting when you add deserted islands." Nagisa siad exited.
"I know, right? So let's hold a training camp!" Kou was talking but I didn't really pay attention to her... Makoto was staring her with empty expression... Me and Haru had our eyes on him...we both know... Suddenly Kou asked Makoto;
"Your decision, Captain?"
"Huh? Um... I guess it's a good idea... to hold a training camp to prepare for prefecturals." I couldn't let that happen...
"I know that is not my decision to make, but I don't thing is a good idea...Makoto..."
"It's ok (Name)..."
"Makoto! It's dangerous!" I raise my voice for the first time after a long time...
"(Name)... Everyone will be fine... I promise..." He rest his hand to my shoulder, I was red from the anger and worry... but I manage to calm down... everyone eye's was on me, even Haru was staring me at shock. So he didn't want to talk about it now...
"You will take me with you!" I announce with a serious face.
"We would take you with us ether way." Haru commented but my eyes didn't let Makoto's face. He nodded. And Nagisa exited shouted;
"Hurray! It's settled, then!"
The guys also gave me one yellow t-shirt with Iwatobi-chan and a super cool jersey light blue/ white jacket with Iwatobi printed on the back. I loved it, we all wear the same... I liked it even more from the one I had on the rowing club when I was in high school.
We went straight to the teacher's office. But Ama-chan San told that the school doesn't have that money...
"People only get that lucky in TV shows and manga." That one thing from many she said us...
We didn't have something ells to do today so we went to the convenient store to buy snacks. I bought a (fav/snack), and walked beside Makoto as he shared his double blue (?) ice-cream with Haru...
Nagisa from front said; "But I really want to go to a deserted island with everyone. If the school won't pay for it, we can try to pay for it ourselves."
"I can't afford it" Rei said serious. "We had to pay for the tracksuits ourselves, and I bought a non-speedo swimsuit."
"I also bought a swimsuit."
"Same here..."Makoto added.
"It's the same for me" Nagisa said cheerful.
"Rei-kun needed a swimsuit; the rest of you didn't need to buy one."
"I also wanted to buy a new one too..." I said in a sad tone...
"But you bought yours really recently (Name)-san!"
"Oi! That doesn't have to do with anything!"
"Anyway you didn't need a new one...especially Haruka-senpai. All of your swimsuits look the same."She said to Haru.
"They fit differently" Haru said offended. Both Makoto and I giggled...
"We could all find part-time jobs." Nagisa suggested.
"It's too late for that."
Abruptly... Makoto stopped and we all turned our eyes on him. "Wait! I'll think of something. There should be a way to hold a camp without needing money." Nagisa and Kou were excited...
"Mako-chan's getting serious!"
"We can count on our captain!" Makoto was smiling he really wanted to go? But he is afraid-... never mind... I have to discuss about it with him when I get the chance...
Outside Makoto's house;
"His idea is to literally camp outside?" Kou asked worried. She probably didn't like that idea. "And what do we do about the boat fare to the island?"
"Are we going to do hitchhike?"
"Nagisa there aren't any cars of trucks in the ocean..." I said with a calm voice.
Rei's attention got something "What's this?" I turned to see what caught his attention...
"It's a grave for a goldfish. It was Makoto's pet." Haru answered. Rei and Nagisa kneeled in front of the grass with the water and the flowers.
"Oh, yeah. He had a pet goldfish in grade school. So this is still here."
I stepped forwarded and past them. I kneeled, clapped my hands once with my eyes close – paying my respect to my friend's old pet- Rei and Nagisa follows my example.
"I had one too, once... it's in my grandma's back yard now."
Makoto was out and we went to examine the equipment at Haru's house.
"This is some serious equipment." Kou comment...
"Our family always goes camping during the summer." Makoto explains...
"Your family still goes? That's so nice Makoto... I remember you guys going till I was little..."
"Yeah... One summer before we had my brother and sister, our families went together... Do you remember?" That was true... but I don't remember a lot. My eyes were empty as I was trying to remember the details... Makoto was younger than me and he could remember better that summer better than me...
"Th-That's true... I don't remember mush... but I think we had a good time..." A goofy smile was on my face thinking the pleasant memories... "I think we were on a mountain, or something?" Makoto nodded, but my thought stopped, hearing Haru asking in an irritated tone Nagisa;
"Who gave you permission to use my place for storage?"
"But there's so much room here." Haru looked away and I smiled at him...
"Are these all deserted island? We could camp on a deserted island!" Nagisa said holding above his head the map...
Rei graphed it. "That's a bad idea."
"Let's have a barbeque on a deserted island!" Nagisa was loud and exited and for my surprise Kou too, she shouted after Nagisa; "Barbeque!"
"Can you drop the deserted island business?"
"Rei are you scared?"I asked.
"No... That would not be beautiful..." He said shyly.
"Well... now we just need money for transportation."
"True..."
"Do you think Ama-chan has a boat?" Nagisa's voice was depressed
"I seriously doubt it." Rei said with his usual –are you kidding me?- tone. But Makoto had an idea he told that he knew someone with a boat. He immediately toke his phone and called someone... That in the end I saw that was none other than Sasabe coach.
Sasabe coach couldn't find what to say... We were all staring at him expecting his answer...
"Yes, I have the squid fishing boat left by my grandpa. And I have a boating license. But... You buy me one pizza and expect me to do you a favor like that? "He was kind of right...
"Please help us out!" Me and Makoto said in union...
"We'll also give you this!" Said Nagisa loudly showing a carving Iwatobi-chan that Haru made himself.
"I don't want that!" Sasabe coach said roughly. He was breathing heavily; I could understand why he decided to help us.
"Oh... fine."
"Really?" I said happily. All of us were staring at him with widen eyes.
"I can't participate in your camp, but I can take you there and back."
"Really?!" Nagisa said while he hit his palms on the table from the excitement.
"Yeah..." He answered with a weak smile.
They all shouted and laugh in happiness. We would make the training camp real!
"I could use a little cruise." Coach murmured to himself, but Rei heard him and turned to tell me;
"A cruise in a squid fishing boat?" I giggled. Makoto must be really happy; coz he said cheerfully at Sasabe coach;
"Thank you so much!" and Kou offered him again the curved Iwatobi-chan, but he refused. The time has passed with a lot of laugh and jokes. We accompanied Rei, Nagisa and Kou to the station, and when they left we stayed there standing still and silent. I was next to Haru staring the empty place in front of me when Makoto said "Let's go."
"Yeah" Haru answer and I nodded. We were passing by the beach and I had my eyes to the blue ocean.
"Looks like this camp is going to work out. We just need permission from Ama-chan now."
"Yeah..." Said Haru casually, something is bothering him, I hope it's the same that bother me too. Makoto keep saying...
"A training camp with everyone, huh? I'm looking forward to this. Oh. Rei is a beginner, so we need to watch out for him. We have (Name) with us so it must be easier but is he going to be able to handle this?" Haru was staring his from the corner of his eyes with an extra serious face for him. Makoto was still talking...
"I'm not much of a long distance swimmer myself...." Haru suddenly stopped with his eyes still on him. I stopped too and look both of them in curiosity. I wonder where this is going... Makoto turned his body to us saying;
"What's wrong?" Silences fill the air... I wanted to breake the ice but I felt that Haru wanted to handle this his way so I decided to let him...He didn't prove me wrong.
"Are you really okay with this?" Makoto widen his eyes, maybe he didn't expect something like that from him. He locks his gaze with his for a second and Haru lowered his voice in the word; "The ocean" I could see Makoto's eyes getting empty, like it wasn't Haru in front of him. After some seconds he wakes up, and his face is gloomy... I can't even remember when it was the last time that I saw him like that... He forms an innocent smile;
"I'll be fine. It was a long time ago." ... Enough...
"Makoto." I said coldly. They both staring me now.
"I can't accept that...I want you to know that the reason I will come to the training camp is you. I don't worry so much about Rei; he will be fine, for you I am worrying the most on that." I was in the middle of them; two pair of eyes were on me. On the one side Haru was looking at me in blank expression but I could tell he didn't expect that, and on the other side Makoto was confused he didn't know how to react. It is fine for him to worry about any of us but it was a strange to him for someone ells to worry for him.
"Makoto...Don't give me that look, please... I will be with the rest of you all the time you are in the water, even if you wish me gone, I will be there to make sure that everyone of you is completely fine with t-h-e o-c-e-a-n. I hope both of you are okay with that" Haru nodded without a single sound I haven't shown this part of myself to them. Makoto smiled a bit. He came closer he sent a look at Haru and asked;
"May I?" I don't know what he meant but Haru nodded again... And without a warning I received the tightest hug of my life that make my eyes tear. I hugged him back without complaining.
"Thank you, (Name)."
Soon the training camp would be real and everything was going to be alright ... I'm so happy!
