The moment Akash opened the washroom door, Banu couldn't look at him directly. He usually showers and changes his clothes in another room in her house. But this time he entered the room shirtless wearing his trousers. His wet hair was an added distraction to his current look.  He took a towel from the cupboard and dried his hair.

While doing so, he tilted his head and looked at her questioningly. Her widened eyes and half opened mouth made him smile inwardly. He didn't know he had this much effect on her. The possibility excited him a lot. He wanted to tease her so badly at the moment. So, he refrained from putting on a shirt which he found on the top shelf of the cupboard.

"Banu, my room is not yet cleaned. I've asked Revathi sister to do the work tomorrow. She thought we would stay in the same room. If you don't mind, I'll sleep with you in the room tonight," his reasons should have convinced her.

But Banu was getting anxious around him. She mumbled under her breath, "I would mind it Mr."

Akash voluntarily came near her and asked her, "Did you say anything? I couldn't hear it properly."

When he came close, her senses stopped functioning. Words failed to come out of her mouth as she opened and closed her lips trying to say something coherently.

"You.." she managed to say in between her shallow breaths.

He moved closer and questioned her, "Me?"

She got lost in his deep eyes and held his shoulders to support her from falling. That's because her knees began to lose the ability to stand firmly. But touching his shoulders only increased the tense atmosphere between them.

When he inched closer towards her face, her eyes closed automatically. She leaned towards him without thinking anything. Contrary to her reactions, she suddenly felt the wind embracing her rather than the warmth of the man. She opened her eyes only to find him watching her with a twinkle in his eyes. The scenario changed instantly making her embarassed for imagining things. Her eyes teared up realizing that she could never be the one in his hands with any kind of romance.

With no intention to show it to him, she turned towards the bed and picked the pillow and a blanket. Akash understood that he has gone too far with teasing her. So, he grabbed her hand and turned her towards him.

"Banu, see what I intended was..," he was interrupted by Banu with a hurt smile.

"It doesn't matter. I just need to sleep now. Please move aside. I'll take the couch."

Akash had no other go but do as she said. He felt bad for messing up the chance and hurting her. He laid in the bed for long hours before drifting off to sleep. Similar to Akash, Banu was unable to sleep. She utilized the time to think of ways to find the girl in the photograph and unite them together. Though the plan caused her more grief, she didn't want him to suffer just because of the loyalty he has for her father.

The next day awaited them with a couple of surprises. What will be Aravind's next move? The roar of a wounded animal is worse than anything.
