It was finally Friday, and all the Losers' were heavily excited for the sleepover they would have tonight and tomorrow. They hadn't yet decided what games or movies they would play, but they knew either way they'd have fun.

"How about Spin The Bottle, Big Bill?" Richie had jokingly suggested this morning, causing different reactions from the group of kids.
Beverly giggled, Stan rolled his eyes, and Eddie went on a tangent about the different sicknesses you can get from kissing.

"You're just jealous you're not getting some sweet pussy like me, Eddie my love." Richie retorted, earning a flustered yet disgusted look from Eddie.

"Richie, that's disgusting!" Eddie screeched, and slapped the back of Richie's head, making a mess of his wavy black hair.
Richie bursted into a giant fit of laughter as he rubbed the back of his head.

Eddie scoffed.

"Will you t-t-two cut it o-out?" Bill asked impatiently, looking at the two.

"Don't tell me you're jealous too, Big-" Eddie cut Richie off,
"SHUT UP RICHIE! JUST SHUT UP!"

Richie's only response was, "Make me."
Eddie darted his eyes in his direction at the comeback, wondering what he meant by that, but knowing immediately when Richie winked and grinned.

"Gladly." Stan interrupted Eddie's thinking and leaned over the small boy and grabbed Richie's nipple between his thumb and index finger and pinched it hard, causing Richie to gasp in pain and jerk away.

"What the hell, Stan?!" Richie yelled. "You trying to tear them off? These are preserved for your mom only!" Just as Stan was about to attack Richie again, Bill grabbed Stan's arm and dragged him away, muttering,
"Alright, that's enough sugar for you," on the way out of the Gymnasium.

Then suddenly the bell had rang and all of The Losers' dispatched to their different classes.

-

Richie ran to Beverly and Eddie once the bell had rung, who were both standing in front of the lockers near the giant doors that led to freedom.

"Hey Bev! Hey Ed's!" Richie called out to them, grabbing their attention.
Eddie's dark chocolate curls and Beverly's strawberry red curls both swished to and fro as they whipped their heads to the sound of Richie's voice calling.

"Hey, Trashmouth." Beverly said affectionately as she patted Richie's shoulder. Eddie looked up at Richie and smiled, seeing Richie was the best part of Eddie's day.

And seeing Eddie was the best part of Richie's day.

"So Eddie what'd your mom say about the sleepover?" Beverly asked Eddie, who's eyes were still concentrated on Richie.

"Huh? Oh! Oh yeah, she said it's okay. I just had to tell her I'm doing a school project with Bill." Eddie answered her question and smiled.

"Well I'll see you two at Bill's, toodles." Richie said and disappeared outside.

"I'm gonna go too, Bev. See ya." Eddie also followed in Richie's footsteps.

"That's fine, I promised Ben I'd walk him home after school anyways." Beverly informed Eddie. "Y'know. Just in case Henry Bowers comes looking for trouble." She grabbed her box of Camels and lit one of the cigarettes, no student or teacher even paying attention to the underage smoking happening in the school.

Eddie then stepped out into the bright sunlight from the schoolhouse, eyes wincing at the harsh sun. He tightened his fannypack, and began his trek home.
