October 29th, 2:45pm
Richie sat in his desk tapping his pencil, which had many bite marks, against the desk and stared out the window. His mind lost in his own thoughts about the Halloween party him and his friends would have tomorrow.
"Richard." A female's voice suddenly spoke up from the front of the room, causing Richie to jerk his head around to the source of the voice. "Are you with me or are you not?"
Richie cleared his throat to speak back, "I'm sorry Ms. Johnson. Am I supposed to be with you, cause the only person I'm with is your mom."
Ms. Johnson let out a fake laugh and propped her hands on her hips. "Hardy-har-har, why don't you become a comedian?" Ms. Johnson spat back as the other peers in the classroom roared in laughter, including Richie.

The bell finally rang, dismissing the eager students from class to go home.
As Richie stuffed his binder in his bookbag, he heard footsteps approaching him and he looked up to see Beverly."Ello, Lassy!" Richie greeted in his British accent and he grinned.
"Dork." Beverly replied, flicking Richie on the forehead with her thumb and index finger.
Richie jerked back, laughing, as he rubbed the spot Beverly had just flicked. "What was that for?"
"Just felt like it." Beverly winked and turned on her heel, exiting the classroom which was now empty except for Richie.
Richie carried his gaze back to his bookbag and finished up packing, and then sat up from his seat and left the classroom.
Richie opened the school doors and stepped out, meeting eyes with Eddie and Stanley. "What took you so long?" Eddie asked, running up to Richie and hugging him before quickly moving away when he remembered they were in public.
"Sorry, I had to finish up packing and then this dork," He motioned to Beverly. "Distracted me."
Beverly let out a small giggle and threw her cigarette on the ground, smashing it with her brown leather boots.
"Suh-so the p-p-party's at six tuh-tomorrow?" Bill asked, grabbing the straps on his bookbag.
"I think so." Ben assured. "I'll ring Mike when I get home and make sure."
"T-t-t-thanks Buh-Ben." Bill acknowledged, waving goodbye to the others and then turning around with Silver down the street. "Hi-Yo, Silver! AWAYYYYY!" The others could hear Bill holler as he rode off.
"That Bill Denbrough sure is a hoot." Richie said, shaking his head with a smile.
"Yeah." Beverly agreed. "He sure is."
