Eddie quickly got to his house and he unlocked the front door, a chilly air blowing into his face like a winter wind.
Eddie's mother sat in her recliner like usual, asleep and her mouth wide open, a pig-like snore escaping her mouth.
Eddie didn't want to wake her so he took of his shoes and quietly tiptoed to his room upstairs, not wanting to ruin his chance of going to Bill's.
Once Eddie was inside his room, he set his shoes down and grabbed his duffel bag from under his bed that he had packed the night before. Clothes, pajamas, hygiene stuff, and other necessities. Others would call it overpacking, Eddie called it being prepared.

He then thought that he should leave a note for his mother to read so she knew he had left for Bill's house.
Eddie went over to his desk and grabbed a pen and paper and started jotting down words onto it.

Hi mommy, I've left for Bills house to work on the project. I'll be back Sunday, and don't worry. I have my pills and inhaler, so I'll be fine. I love you! -Eddie

Eddie grabbed the piece of paper and his duffelbag and made his way downstairs, putting on his shoes on the way down.
He grabbed a red magnet and stuck the piece of paper to the fridge, and then ran out the door and onto his bike, heading to Bill's house.

Eddie struggled riding his bike, trying not to fall with the duffelbag weighing him down on his right side. But finally he made his way to Bill's two story washed blue house, different flowers blooming outside. He noticed two more bikes in the front lawn, Mikes and Bens.
Eddie let his bike join the other two's and he jogged up the stairs and knocked on the door. A few moments later he heard muffled footsteps approaching the door and then Bill opened it.

"Hey Eh-Eh-Eddie." Bill greeted, opening the door wider and stepping aside for the smaller boy to enter.

"The others s-should get heh-here s-s-soon." Bill told Eddie as Eddie walked into the living room and met eyes with Mike and Ben.

"Eddie!" Mike yelled and sat up from the couch and pulled Eddie into a tight hug, his muscles rippling under his shirt as he did so. It was the first time the two had seen each other since school started since Mike was still being homeschooled.

"Hey, Mike." Eddie returned the hug, and let go a minute later. "How are you?" Eddie asked, smiling, which caught onto Mike, his teeth perfect and white.

"Good! I've missed you all so much. I can't wait to see Richie and Beverly and Stan." As if mentioning the names summoned them, the doorbell rang and Stan walked in as Bill opened the door.

"Hey, guys." Stan greeted with a smile. He was wearing a light grey sweatshirt with the initials 'DH', which stood for Derry High, and washed blue jeans.

The other four Losers' greeted him, and waited for Richie and Beverly to arrive.

Don't tell me they're gonna be late. Eddie thought. But had nothing to worry about as about as thirty minutes later Beverly and Richie knocked on the door.
They were both smiling and giggling as they stepped inside, and Eddie felt a twinge of jealously. Why? Hell if he knew.

"Richie!" Eddie yelled out, smiling. He felt like a puppy wagging its tail as its owner got back home from work.

Richie's eyes darted to Eddie and he smiled, breaking away from the conversion him and Beverly was having.
"Hey Eddie Spaghetti." Richie said, ruffling Eddie's hair.

Eddie jerked back, pushing Richie's veiny hands off of his head. "Don't do that, I hate it when you do that." He whined. "And don't call me Eddie Spaghetti!"

"Alright then. Is Spaghetti Man any better? Or Ed's?" Richie teased, earning a fake grouchy look from Eddie.

"How about...Eddie?" Eddie suggested instead.

"Whuh-what do you guh-guh-guys wanna do?" Bill interrupted Eddie and Richie's good natured argument.

"Is your Mom home?" Richie asked with another stupid huge goofy smile that Eddie strangely found attractive.

"Beep beep, Ruh-Richie." Bill said. Beverly was giggling at Richie's joke.

"Got any board games?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, in m-my room." Bill said, leading them up the stairs to his room.
His room was still the same as it had been when they were thirteen that summer. The wax that Bill had coated onto Georgie's boat was still in the same place it had been on that rainy day.
Eddie felt a fresh wave of sadness wash over him as he remembered the lively little kid that was Bill's brother. Whenever Eddie and the original three Losers' would come over before that horrible day, Georgie would always come running to them and show them the new Lego sets he had built.

"G-go ah-ah-away G-G-G-Georgie." Bill would stutter at his little brother and send him away with a wave of his hand.

"But Bill, I wanna show your friends-"

"N-no! Guh-go away." Eddie remembered the argument him and Georgie had had that day, him, Stan, and Richie standing awkwardly off to the side.

"Frick you, Bill!" Georgie had yelled at Bill and stormed off to his room.

"Ed's?" Richie snapped Eddie out of his thoughts. "You alright?"

"Huh?" Eddie jerked his head up to Richie, who was standing in front of him, Eddie being slightly shorter. "Yeah, I'm alright. Come on." Eddie grabbed Richie's hand and dragged him into Bills room.

The other five Losers' were sitting in a circle, a gap in it saved for Richie and Eddie.

"I ha-have Monopoly, C-C-Connect fuh-four, Jenga, a-a-and Trou-Troub-ble." Bill told them, four boxes of board games beside him.

Richie and Eddie sat in the circle, crosslegged.
"

How about Jenga?" Richie suggested, getting a hum of agreement from the others.

"Ah-alrighty then." Bill took the Jenga box and opened it, getting all the pieces out. Eddie knew they were going to have fun at this sleepover.
