Tw: Conversion therapy
Eddie darted up his stairs to his front door and unlocked it, standing in the doorway for a few seconds before finally waving goodbye to Richie. Eddie backed up and closed the door and turned around to head up to his room, but only being intercepted by his morbidly obese mother.
"Hi, Mo-" Eddie started, but was cut off.
"Eddie," She said slowly and strictly, a look on her face which Eddie could only describe as 'dangerous and scary'. "What were you just doing?" She finished.
"What do you mean, Mama?" Eddie tried to play dumb, panic rising in his chest as he realized that his mother very much could have seen him holding hands and kissing Richie Toizer.
"Don't lie to me, Eddie!" She abruptly yelled at the small asthmatic boy, anger flaring in her eyes. "I saw you kissing that-that-that faggot Richard Toizer!" Eddie tried to jerk backwards as her hand clamped onto the collar of his shirt and dragged him down the hall.
"Mommy, please!" Eddie tried to beg, fearful of what she was planning to do to him. "I-I wasn't kissing anyone!"
"Eddie," Sonia suddenly said more softly. "You're sick." She pointed a stubby finger at the side of his head. "In here."
"No, Mommy..." Eddie felt tears welling in his eyes, fighting to come out, scratching.
Sonia opened his bedroom door open and shoved him in. "I'll be right back, okay? Don't be afraid." She walked out, locking the door behind her. Eddie quickly scrambled to his window and fought to get it open. After moments of struggling he finally got it to open, but heard footsteps approaching from down the hall. His mother was returning.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" He muttered angrily under his breath.
His bedroom door then opened and his mother stepped inside with a small bundle of rope. "Come here." She enjoined.
"No, you're...You're crazy!" Eddie transgressed against his mother, backing away towards the window once more.
"Come here!" Sonia said again but with much more anger and she stomped her foot, making Eddie's anxieties rise. Eddie obeyed.
"This is for your own good, sweetie." She said softly, grabbing Eddie's wrist and tying the rope around it.
"W-What are you doing?!" Eddie tried to jerk his hand away, but failing. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!"
Sonia grabbed the other end of the rope and tied it to one pole of Eddie's bed like a dog on a leash.
"You'll stay like this with no food until you no longer feel gay. Okay?" She put her hand on the side on his face and gave him a fake warm smile. She then turned around and exited his room and locked it as so Eddie wouldn't escape.
Eddie immediately grabbed onto the rope and fought to untie it but foilbled. The previous tears scratching at his eyes to climb out finally escaped, unlike Eddie, who was trapped.

*Time skip to three days later, 1am*
A knock at Eddie's window suddenly woke him and he stood up to make his way to his window, but was stopped by the rope he was under control of. He peeked over his bed to see a shadow moving on his roof and recognized it as Richie.
"Ed's!" Richie whispered. "Let me in!"
Eddie frowned, his stomach grumbling with hunger. "I can't! The window should be open already." Eddie remembered the attempt to escape earlier and he hadn't closed the window.
The window then slid open quietly and Richie stepped into Eddie's dark room, searching for a light switch.
"Eddie?!" Richie yelled as he turned the light on and saw Eddie's wrist tied to his bed, immediately kneeling down in front of the boy and cupping his face in his hands. "Are you okay, why are you-"
"My Mom, Richie." Eddie cut Richie off. "She...she saw me kissing you. She said I was sick and she tied me here, refusing to feed me until I "feel less gay"". Eddie explained.
Richie was already working on untying the rope from Eddie's wrist. "That bastard!" The younger boy cussed under his breath. "I'll save you, alright? I promise." Richie assured Eddie.
Finally after ten minutes of struggling, Richie got Eddie's wrist free of the rope and helped him up. "You okay?" Richie grilled.
"I will be. Thank you, Richie." Eddie gazed up at the taller boy's chocolate brown, almost black, beautiful eyes. Moonlight sparkled in his eyes and Eddie felt...safe. Like he had a second home with Richie.
Eddie stood on the tip of his toes to reach Richie's lips and pressed his lips with Richie's. Eddie grabbed Richie's hand in his, intertwining their fingers together. Richie kissed back, grabbing a hold on Eddie's waist.
Maybe things wasn't going to be so bad after all. As long as he had Richie.
