Also to clarify in the last part they did NOT find an abandoned bar they found an abandoned BARN

That was the most embarrassing mistake I've ever made

"Shut up I think he's awake!" Was that Tyler's voice?

"Don't tell ME to shut up you shut up!" Aiden's?

"You little-" It was definitely Tyler's the first time.

"Knock it off, boneheads." That was definitely Ashlyn's.

Logan squinted his eyes open with a groan and curled into a ball. Taylor slammed her fist on the wall with a yell. "HA! TY I TOLD YOU THAT CPR CLASS YOU TOOK WHEN YOU WERE IN BOY SCOUTS WOULD COME TO USE!"

Logan cringed from the noise and Tay whispered a sorry with a sheepish smile.

There was a sharp pain straight through his neck, and a flash a memory came in his head, causing him to groan again and clench his fists.

Ashlyn sighed and made a face at them before turning to Logan with a concerned face. "Do you remember who YOU are?"

Logan nodded weakly.

"Do you remember everyone here?"

He nodded again.

"Do you remember why we are here?"

And again.

"Okay, do you remember what happened before you passed out?"

Logan looked downwards, like his hands were suddenly interesting. He did remember, but he didn't want to. So he thought back even more and looked up again through the black spots in his vision. "I had a gun," he murmured.

Aiden muffled a laugh at Logan's answer and Ben shot him a look.

Ashlyn just sighed again. "No, I mean right before you passed out."

He looked down again, the black spots clearing a little.

Logan wanted to lie. To say there was a bear or lab worker. But he looked around and saw everyone's concerned and afraid expressions. He didn't want to scare them more than they already were.

If they thought they were being followed by lab worker they'd panic, and he didn't want that. He didn't want them to suffer just because of a lie.

"...I did it."

The group's heads snapped to look at them.

"What?" Tyler asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"I did it to myself."

They didn't seem to get the point because they looked at each other confused. Then Taylor reached out and put a hand on his shoulder. "Logan, it's not your fault you got shot."

Logan took a deep inhale and spoke as quickly as he could.

"I tried to kill myself, okay?!"

They all blankly stared at him for a very long time.

Eventually, Aiden spoke a small 'oh.'

The group didn't really know what to say. They all quickly looked away after Aiden spoke. Ben began bandaging Logan up again, Taylor and Aiden went back to whispering, Ashlyn kept assessing him to make sure he still remembered everything, and Tyler disappeared to God knows where.

Which left Logan. Awkwardly sitting there knowing that even though they looked away he was still the center of attention.

Logan woke up in the night to Tyler squinting down at him.

Tyler quickly covered Logan's mouth before he screamed. "PFFT! TFF! SHUT UP!" Tyler exclaimed, tripping over his own words. When Logan calmed down he took his hand off his mouth.

With an exhale, Tyler spoke again. "How are you feeling? Any pain?"

Obviously he felt pain, he had a gunshot wound! But he didn't answer with that, instead Logan just nodded and put a hand on the patch covering the wound on his neck.

"Uhm, here. I know you're really attached to your guns or somethin'. I went back down to the lake to grab it. Just don't like, shoot yourself with it?" Tyler mumbled, handing Logan his gun and quickly looking away to hide his face red with embarrassment.

Logan smiled and moved it around in his hands. "Thank you."

Tyler cleared his throat. "You're welcome. Don't think too much of it, I still hate you and everyone else."

And it mightve been true. But as Tyler walked to another corner of the building to sit down Logan grinned again, knowing that Ty was at least warming up to the group.
