Chapter 13: Scrambled Eggs

We open to Jack walking down the streets of hell in Pentagram City. It had been a week since Sir Pentious had started staying at the hotel Charlie was very excited he was happy that someone wanted to stay at the hotel because they wanted to and he was happy for that. As he thought about this he ended up bumping into someone and it was as if the entirety of hell went quiet because it pretty much did because everyone near by went quiet and looked in fear because when he looked up he saw Alastor and Zestial looking down at him.
Alastor: "Ah Jack how are you doing today"
Jack: "Been better. Zestial it's been a while."
Zestial: "Likewise Jack"
They started to walk together while talking Jack had asked why the eggs were with them apparently Vaggie had asked Alastor to get rid of them...humanely. They had stopped in front of a building and had gotten into a elevator on the side and Alastor had told the Eggs to stay there but one of the eggs had gotten on by accident but only Jack noticed as the elevator stopped and everyone got off the egg was amazed at everyone who came through who seemed to have a mutual respect for one another as they all nodded their heads to each other as a sign of respect. All the overlords had taken their seats at the table as another character by the name of Carmilla Carmine the biggest weapon dealer in hell
Carmilla: "Welcome, Hell sovereign overlords. I've invited you all here because you represent the controlling powers of our city. Together you own millions of souls. Souls at risk with the new extermination schedule. We need to discuss what can be done to minimize the impact to our interest. Zestial so nice to see you my friend."
Zestial: "Enchanted as always Carmilla"
Carmilla: "Alastor?"
Alastor: "Yes, I know I've been absent some time. I'm sure you've all been wondering."
Carmilla: "Not really. But welcome back in any case. Oh Jack how have you been?"
Jack: "....."
Carmilla: "Silent as ever I see"
(Jack rarely talks to others besides some who he needs to talk to like on a Job that he has on with the Hotel and IMP)
Carmilla: "This years extermination was brutal, far more even than years past. We have assessed that about 16% of the population was lost. With the angelic legions now returning twice as quickly I think it prudent we-"
She was cut off by someone kicking open the door it was Velvette, one of the Vees, she was talking on the phone
Velvette: "Yes I've got it covered Vox. Are you doubting me? Really? Me? That's what I thought. Yes, I know. They're all a joke." She says as she looks at the other overlords specifically Carmilla but she stops laughing as she looks at Jack and hangs up immediately and stares at Jack "Do I know ow you from somewhere?"
Jack: "...."
She stares at him a bit longer before her attention goes to Carmilla
Carmilla: "Nice of you to join us, Velvette. Will your.....colleagues be joining?"
Velvette: "No. They have better shit to do than to listen to an old windbag who thinks she's tough shit." Carmilla glares at her "I'm here to represent" she holds up her phone to take a picture of Carmilla with poop emojis but her phone is snatched out her hands "Hey!" Jack was holding her phone and started to crush it after he did he dropped what remains of her phone there were infront of her on the table and nodded to Carmilla to continue and went back to his seat "Hold on a second-" she was cut off by Carmilla continuing
Carmilla: "So, as I was saying, we need to discuss-" she was cut off again by Velvette
Velvette: "On the subject of dicussion" she then throws an angels head onto the table everyone looked in shock especially Carmilla "Where did you get this?"
Velvette: "We found it biting extermination day. If these Holy Rollers can be killed, the game has changed. We can take the fight to them. The boys have come up with a full assault plan."
She was interrupted by Zestial who was taking a looonnnnggg sip of his tea.
Zestial: "If it be true thee and thy colleagues desire to war, with such meager proof. Thou are fare more foolish than I be thought."
Velvette: "Meager proof? It's a dead fucking exorcist. I'd say that's pretty fucking definitive. You going blind old, old man?"
Zestial: "We know not how this perished. Mayhaps 'twas not by a demons hand at all. If we rush to war without knowing mightn't they purge all of hell for daring an uprising?" All the overlords had started to agree with Zestial including Jack who was nodding in approval
Velvette: "Oh, I get it. So grandpa is too pussy to fight, so I guess there's no point, right? Oh what's the matter, fossil? Too senile to take a real power grab for—"

As Velvette walked to the door she had bumped into someone as she looked up it was Jack satnding infront of her "And what do you want bot" Jack had leaned down to get right in her face "You to give me a reason to not slaughter you like the animal you are" .  Everyone in the room besides Zestial,Alastor,and Rosie were in shock before Velvette could answer the question Jack had grabbed her by the throat and smashed her through the window making her hang out of the window by her neck "Jack stop now!" Jack looked over and saw Camilla walking over to him "It isnt worth it" Jack stood there pondering and then tossed Velvette back inside and Looked over to Camilla. She motioned him to follow same with Zestial.

As they entered her office her daughters were asking her whats wrong and why she had stopped Jack from killing Velvette "Enough! I want no more of this."
"So you don't want to explain why you killed the Angel?" All of them looked at Jack "I saw the fear in your eyes when she pulled out the head so what's the story"

As Camilla finished singing they heard a window open and saw Jack sitting in the window sill
"I won't tell but know if it comes to it I will come back to get help. There is a war brewing and I don't know how it will end but I know that you will be in the crossfire. The question is though will you hide and die or will try and fight? That's the question you must ask yourself." As he finished the last part he jumped out and landed on the street below before vanishing into the dark.
