{okay, quick authors note, i didn't have time to draw much concept art from here on because i was on a deadline, i was using my book (which i've been working on for two years) for a project and i only had a week and a half to finish cosplaying insanity and it's concept arts. thank you for understanding}
I awake to the sound of knocking. Better go check it out. Oh, it's mai's mom and other mom "hello, can i help you?" I ask them. "Have you seen mai? We don't know where she went" her mom says "no, i haven't seen her, i wonder where she could be. Let me check our texts to make sure she didn't run away." I start reading, nothing out of the ordinary, just random little things that'll make you giggle. "Hmmm, nothing out of the ordinary, I don't think she was gonna run away. Thank you for helping us. If anything turns up, let us know" they thank me and leave. That gives me an idea

One thing you don't know about me is that I can copy anyone's handwriting. Me and Mai write on paper together all the time for no reason at all. That makes this ten times easier. Plus, I've known Mai for years and have been staring at her handwriting for a lot longer than I've known her. I get to work finding the papers. I study for hours, looking carefully at each letter, forging my own. Once I'm finished, it totals out to about a paragraph. I copied her writing style and everything. Now to just plant the evidence.
