The day started with Transfiguration, a fascinating subject which taught how to turn one thing into another will with spells. The first year Slytherin and Gryffindor students were together for that lesson. Ivy sat beside Theo, as Draco sat beside them by Blaise and Daphne sat behind them with Davina. They had been silently writing with their quills on pieces of parchment- which Ivy found cool and aesthetic, and considering she didn't have to use her wand today, she used it to wrap her hair into a messy bun- when she spotted Hermione but not Harry or Ron.

Until they burst into the room and thought they wouldn't get in trouble for being late, until McGonagall, who had become a cat- which again, so cool- jumped up and turned back into a human and scolded them. Ivy wanted to make a sarcastic remark to the two of them but, for reasons unknown, she felt the need to avoid facing her brother. She kept her head down and scribbled away, feeling both Harry and Theo's eyes on her.

Their next class was potions with Professor Snape. The students, Gryffindors and Slytherins once again, sat on the rows of tables, and Ivy somehow sat on the first table- Blaise, Draco and Theo together on one side whilst Ivy, Davina and Daphne sat beside them. Ivy was painfully aware of her brother sitting behind her with Ron and Hermione.

"Is this your wand in your hair?" Davina asked Ivy, hand reaching out for it.

Ivy slapped it away, "Yeah, it's keeping my bun together. Wasn't using it, anyway, so."

"That's actually kinda smart," Daphne muttered.

"Funny, I keep my wand in my pants," Theo joked.

Ivy seemed surprised by what he said but the three girls gave him disgusted looks anyway.

"Ew, Theo," Davina scrunched her nose.

The boys beside him snickered, "Here, I'll pull it out and show you."

He took out his wand from his trouser pocket causing the boys to laugh and the girls to groan.

"Ivy... Ivy."

She momentarily paused and closed her eyes at the familiar voice.

"Your brother's calling you," Davina told her, looking between the twins with furrowed brows.

"Is he?" Ivy hummed, staring at the smoking cauldron in front of her.

"Yes, it's annoying," Daphne told her, before smirking. She turned in her seat and waved flirtatiously at Harry, "Hi, Potter."

Harry furrowed his brows at her, "Hi?"

"Stop it," Ivy muttered to the blonde before sighing and turning around, "What?"

Harry paused for a second, "Hi."

"Hi?" She raised a brow.

"Are you okay? I haven't been able to see you or speak to you," He asked, eyes filled with worry.

"Awhhh," Davina cooed, "That's so sweet."

"I'm okay," Ivy shot her an annoyed look and quickly nodded, "Are you?"

"Yeah, I am."
