Present Day.
4, Privet Drive.
It was morning at the Dursley household. Another torturous day, but not a regular torturous day, no, today was Dudley Dursley's Birthday which meant today was even more torturous for Ivy and Harry than usual. And that was saying something.
10-year-old Ivy descended the attic stairs and saw her cousin, Dudley, race down the flight of stairs that Harry slept under, in his cupboard. She followed after him with a much calmer demeanour.
She wore her typical outfit- an oversized, brown flannel over her black shirt that was tucked into her brown skirt. She had on white knee-high socks and worn-out boots. Her jet black hair was loosely tied in a very messy, low bun. Many wavy strands framed her face.
Ivy abruptly stopped when Dudley came running back up to her and paused before jumping up and down which almost made her fall. She held on tight to the railing and shot him a dirty look, not that he could see her.
"Wake up, cousin. We're going to the zoo!" Dudley shouted out to Harry who was waking up, still in the cupboard under the stairs.
Ivy and Harry used to share the cupboard until they couldn't anymore and one of them had to take the attic. Ivy kept pestering Harry to take the attic instead of her but he wouldn't listen.
Dudley laughed and continued to run down. Ivy rolled her upturned, green eyes and jogged down after him, her skirt flowing around her. When she reached the bottom she saw Dudley push Harry back into the cupboard before running into the kitchen.
Ivy sighed and helped her brother out of the cupboard.
"Mornin', Haz," she smiled and ruffled his messy, overgrown hair.
"Morning, Ivy."
Slowly, they both walked into the kitchen where Dudley was being coddled by his parents.
"Why don't you two just cook the breakfast, and try not to burn anything," Their maternal aunt, Petunia Dursley, said to them.
"Yes, Aunt Petunia," they both said in unison.
They then got to work in the kitchen.
Petunia mentioned something about wanting a perfect day for Dudley.
"Hurry up! Bring my coffee, girl!"
She closed her eyes to stop herself from rolling them, "Yes, Uncle Vernon."
As previously mentioned, a typical atypical torturous morning that ended with Dudley crying over having fewer presents than last year. Both Harry and Ivy shared looks of annoyance. They spoke with their eyes a lot, it was like their own language.
Later on, they began heading towards the car so they could go to the zoo but Vernon stopped the twins,
"I'm warning you both, now. Any funny business, any at all, and you won't have any meals for a week. Get in."
Ivy took the middle seat because she knew Harry hated cars and had a tendency to feel lightheaded in them, so she let him have the window seat. What a nice sister.

At the Zoo.
The twins and the Dursleys stood looking into a glass where they could see a sleeping snake. It didn't move at all, you know, because it was asleep. Apparently, Dudley's pea-sized brain couldn't comprehend that. Or just wouldn't.
"Make it move," Dudley shouted.
Vernon tapped the glass, "Move!"
